Fox News reporter: Hillary Clinton left 9/11 ceremony with 'medical episode'

So even if it's due to her not sweating this still isn't good. If she faints in mild weather then how will she fair going to other countries with vastly different types of weather? A president needs to be fit enough to at least travel and have a public appearance where people don't question their health.

Seriously we may end up with Trump or Hillary's VP if this keeps up. Not that I'm saying she's gonna die, she just doesn't seem up for the challenge.

All this said, if Trump wanted to win sone brownie points, showing some legit concern for Hillary's health would be a sure fire way, at least for me, but then I vastly prefer bi-partisan attitudes to the "team" mentality of partisan politics.

Apparently, is hypohidrosis. Hillary literally doesn't sweat, which leads to an increase in possible heat strokes or hot-flashes:

She jokes in an interview to BuzzFeed from last year that the weirdest fact about her is that she doesn't sweat. She later jokes that it is because she's a robot.

Hillary doesn't need a medical condition to suddenly feel weak because of an hour and a half in the sun, but this is probably what the campaign will go with and will turn it into a fun fact.

EDIT: My aunt's former boyfriend had a similar condition. He literally sweated only on one side of his body, lol.

Mods...please update the OP to include this information.

Damn, she was propped up like she was in a Weekend at Bernie's sequel, then dragged away, wtf.
That is how you get a person in a car who is fainting. Or you need to actually carry her, but that would look even worse.

She has been going to other countries for decades and had no problem with it. Most countries also turn up the air conditioning a bit in meetings with political leaders if it is hot.

I've "fainted" from overheating before. It was about 75 degrees too. A combination of stress, a little dehydration along with being in a crowd caused me to feel extremely hot and light headed. I few people helped me out of the crowd and I collapsed on a chair. I took deep breathes, drank water, and I felt perfectly fine after.

This has happened to me 3 or 4 times over my 27 year life. But the episode above was the worst.

I came close once, a hot and really muggy night. I took a couple drags off of a cigarette and a few moments later my vision went blurry and I went into need-to-lie-down mode. Didn't faint but I was almost as bad off as Clinton looked in that video. Nothing weird and metallic fell out of my pants though.

I fainted once while sitting down in a classroom, it wasn't particularly hot but the seat was very uncomfortable. The pain and warmness in the room, and being tired, bored and just everything combined and I passed out just for a second. The room flipped upside down and there I went. Nobody noticed but the guy next to me. It happens. I was 31 at the time. She is almost 70 with sweating issues.

This NYT article has a high quality video of when she left Chelsea's apartment.

It seems like somehow this is the forgotten half of the story here. I'd be extremely concerned too if Hillary had been rushed to the hospital, stayed overnight, and left the following day while being physically assisted. But she looked fine just an hour later. She sounds fine.

It's unfortunate this had to happen to her. It's really unfortunate it had to happen to her during a presidential campaign. And it's exceptionally unfortunate it had to happen at a 9/11 memorial of all days. But let's take a breather before we all start buying the health conspiracy theories the alt-right is selling.

Otherwise by the end of this campaign we're all going to look like Hillary being helped into her motorcade.

Me too. Almost fainted from heat exhaustion during the winter as I was working really hard with a thick winter coat on that was trapping too much heat.
Thinking back, I see it happen at events such as concerts, weddings, dances, etc all the time. Hillary "fainting" is such a non-issue.

imo nothing to panic about over one incident. I rather have Hillary in a wheel chair than Trump walking around in the White House. I do think the long campaigning of traveling all over the country in a short span is having an effect on her and she needs more rest.

Wouldn't it take far more evidence than one incident to justify this attitude? She spent her time as SoS traveling the world and campaigned across the country in the primary.

One moment of dizziness is suddenly and indictment on all of that? In favor of Trump of all people?

She has a history of fainting.

Did I hear right that she was standing for 90 minutes, or 19? If 90... I mean, come on. As a (healthy) 20-something I fainted standing for less time.

I think she sufficiently justifies her inputs. I mean we could go back to "i'm not a doctor but this looks like something more serious than fainting!"
Article in question said:
I chose “no” for shortness of breath as I am pretty confident that if Mrs. Clinton did have shortness of breath she would have been taken to a hospital. What was her blood pressure? Heard to know, but as she recovered quickly it was not likely below 90 mmHg.

We can exclude congestive heart failure and a low hemocorit (low blood count) based on her doctor’s letter in 2015:
So she is concluding that Clinton's crit can't be low because of bloodwork from 2015? That's just one point. Every other point in this article is shameful, especially when considering she is forming her opinions from a video of Clinton today and her old evaluation.

Concern trolling Hillary is Trump's best and most likely move.

I once passed out while biking in the heat after eating no breakfast.

I was 24 years old. Doesn't look good for me.

Hillary is almost 70 years old, has a history of health issues, and is expected to perform for a minimum of 4 years as President.

this episode, along with all the recent coughing fits, are cause for valid concern, i think.

That and her entire blog is seriously biased.
Definitely isn't an impartial doctor's opinion.

Good thing we don't have any record of her in a previous job were she trekked the globe and had to deal with this...

Jesus people.

At this point Trump is 70 and Clinton is 68, they are old, and "fitness" and "health" are a bit of a sliding scale, just gotta deal with it.

With the possibility of Trump though? I'd vote for dead cat lady rather than Trump:

Even if Trump had the health of Adonis, everything he does is batshit crazy and a disaster.

Hillary does not have a history of health issues unusual for someone of 68 years.

Everyone has a history of health issues.

If you think chunky, 70 year old Trump doesn't have a history of health issues you're nuts. He's has just refused to provide any information about them other than a joke letter from a joke Doctor.

Lol

You should go see a Doctor, bud.

Quick, let me go to school and tell my healthy 17 year old students who faint during a choir performance that they need to go see a doctor.

I fainted on the asphalt at school when I was like 8. Was just walking then everything went upside down. I died shortly thereafter.

You should have went to see a doctor, that way you wouldn't have died.

Legitimate concern. Unless the vice-president was a AAA choice, you are voting in someone who could very well not make it and end up with a completely different person behind the reigns since during presidential elections the vice-president doesnt get much of a spotlight unless its for all the wrong reasons aka Palin.

It's funny how quick the Hillary defense force jumps to say it's nothing when she's losing her balance or having coughing fits as if they know her medical records any more than the public.

Are there any health issues that are unusual for somebody approaching their 70s?

For somebody given a clean bill of health by a physician just a year ago? Yes.

I mean, yeah, she's approaching 70 and is at the age where health complications can manifest, but at this point it's more than a reach to attribute this dizzy spell to some serious health condition.

Lol

You should go see a Doctor, bud.

I did! I saw multiple consultants. Nothing wrong.

Which makes a lot of sense if she doesn't sweat, yeah?

That doesn't sound healthy.

If you're standing still for a long time, it can happen, and can be exacerbated by other temporary environmental circumstances rather than underlying health issues. You can see it happen with soldiers on parade for example. There's usually always one who keels over.

no offence but this is a channel that mostly has call of duty footage (average ~50 views) that renamed itself to "Medically" to upload this, presumably because the channel owner saw the video on 4chan or /r/the_donald and wanted to capitalize The story is going to be talked about and covered by the media, as well it should be, including if necessary scrutiny of whatever you're pointing out, but when we're talking about something "gaining more and more momentum", let's not confuse what we read with what everyone else is reading. Your media diet (and mine!) give a very skewed impression of what society at large is consuming.

You're right, I agree

To me it looks like a stroke.

I mean thats faaaaar stretched but that's what I'd say first just by looking at the video.
If you faint you faint. I mean she could have fainted in the exact time while she was getting in the car but...nah, the whole vid looks SO weird...
