Yeah I get it every one to two years due to having fucked up lungs. Wears you out badly with just walking a few steps.

It's too late for that kind of change. And realistically, what could be done differently? Her team can't shrink down to microscopic size to fight this.

I hope she can manage to get over this in a little shorter period, but a week is not horrible if it has to come to that. As long as she up and about, doing what she needs to be doing, and has a stellar performance at the debates (which I am sure of she will).

I had pneumonia as a kid and I can say first hand that it was the worst thing I ever been through. I thought I was going to die for weeks, this shit is no joke and I hope she pulls through.
I dunno. Pneumonia can be pretty awful. I had it when I was a teenager and was bedridden for weeks. This is obviously a lighter case, but still. Election season is in full swing what with the debates coming up in a couple weeks. I feel like this is going to have an impact.

I understand a lot of people in the media have an issue with her personally but god damn I don't think I saw anyone even wish her a recovery.
I'm really serious about this, it's incredibly depressing to see how basic decency is totally gone in politics. Shouldn't matter what your views are or how evil you think the other side is.

Just to be clear, how many fainting/dizzy episodes has she had in the past? I know there was the one that led to a concussion in 2012 and now the one from today. These are the only two we know of, correct?

Fainted in 2005 during speech. May be others, not sure.
I'm not saying she's going to die. I'm saying this is probably going to effect her campaigning as she's going to probably have to take some time off.

It could have an impact if she's out of action for an extended period. But, as I said, a quick recovery isn't going to make a lot of difference to anyone who didn't already make a lot of difference to.

I just think she's going to recover at least over a week. As long as she takes it easy and let her surrogates do the work for a bit, I think she'll be fine.
I think thats basically what Clinton camp initially said up until the video was released. I don't believe doctors have a responsibility to disclose all health issues to the general public (indeed this could be a violation of health privacy), so this may not be the last we hear of it. I hope it is, but will not be too surprised.
I'm avoiding Facebook because I'm friends with Trumpers and BoB folk, and I honestly expect the BoB folk to be more assholish about this.

For starters it's way too late for a Replacement. Hillary's name will be on the ballot in all 50 states and it's too late to change that.
But Dems would be stupid, absolutely STUPID to let something like that leak to the press even if this were a real story. Which it's not.
Despite some boneheaded moves by her campaign, Hillary Clinton has maintained a steady lead against Donald Trump. Her lead GREW in some polls this weekend. There is absolutely no reason to even want to replace her at this point.

They said it was dehydration, which was not untrue, it was just discovered afterward that it was partially a result from the pneumonia. I'm really not going to panic about it useless Clinton goes MIA for a significant amount of time. A few days to a week isn't going to matter. Anything more than that, though...and I don't know, we'll just have to see. She has to make the debates, at least.

I really don't think this will be that big of a deal in the end, despite what some people hope/fear. Once she gets better and can start campaigning again this will just be another bump in the road. I'm more annoyed by the media calling her "basket of deplorables" comment a gaffe and trying to say this was a bad weekend for Clinton (I mean, it wasn't that good but still). If the act of just getting sick could somehow get people not to go out and vote for her November than I don't even know any more.
I almost laughed when after hours of FREAKING OUT and discussing how hot 80 degrees is on this forum it ended up being just pneumonia (which I know can be fatal, but still). I'm sure the alt-right is butthurt that their smoking gun for the Hillary health rumors ended up turning out this way.

Well, as others have pointed out, the health of a candidate can be a major concern, but I agree, as long as Clinton recovers relatively quickly I don't think it will be a major issue to anyone who wasn't already committed to it. It may have been a bigger blow in a more 'standard' situation, but against Trump, one of the most polarizing and clearly unqualified candidates to possibly ever run for President, it's less so as long as she can get out there quickly. A short absence from sickness isn't going to wipe away all the things Trump has said and done to alienate key groups he needs to actually win this election.

I agree, part of the reason I'm so glad she chose Kaine. It would help if he got a little more exposure and people knew more about him, but there is no reason to be concerned if he were to assume the presidency for whatever unfortunate reason.
Nah, I mean we already have conspiracies of a body double! But I highly doubt the mainstream GOP is going to touch this. Ignoring the fact that its a dick move to attack someone's health when they are actually sick, it's blatantly obvious that sexism has a large role in the rumors anyway.
CNN banner right now is a picture of her falling with the headline "Weekend Of Stumbles". With the "stumbles" being her "gaffe", her...being sick...and her canceling appearances tomorrow because...she's sick.
