Very excited for this. It's great to see one of the stories from the lore being realised in-game.

Fighting the Fallen again and some Warmind tech they've dug up. Super excited for this, next week can't come soon enough.
Passed on the original due to lack of content and just kind of forgot about the game. Really looking forward to jumping in now and getting a year of play before destiny 2. Is the PS4 NeoGAF community still pretty strong? I have some friends i'll be starting with but like having others to group up to avoid playing with randoms.

I get a strong vibe of "the B-Team put this out while everybody else works on Destiny 2."
That said, I'll be in day one. The core gameplay of Destiny is just too fun.

Definitely get in on it. The game has really changed and is full of content. If you have friends to play with even better. If not, this community on GAF is insanely big.

I abandoned Destiny before TTK. I wonder what would happen if I started playing now without any other expansion.

initially I was going to jump on rise of iron.....but there are too many things to sink into this year....so I'll just wait for Destiny 2.

It'd be cheaper for you to just get the collection. TTK normal price is $40 and RoI is $30, since that's what you said you were missing.

I don't believe so, but you can pick up the Destiny: The Collection for $60, that includes all the content in the game. So it'll get you The Taken King and Rise of Iron, the stuff you are missing.
We're very strong. Join the thread get the game and enjoy not buying another game for a while.

Raid will be unlocked 3 days after the release, have to burn through and level up quick to be ready!
