Sky is falling way sooner than anticipated for the Browns xD

McCown gonna miss next week, Cameron Erving has a bruised lung, Carl Nassib the promising rookie broke his hand.

Not to mention the bullshit penalty at the end of the Ravens game.

In other words, things are pretty on par for a normal Browns season ;o

=/

Congrats Dutch!

Yeah him and McKelvin. Mills is starting in McKelvin's place, and we'll get to see Trey Burton in action. I want Ertz to get healthy again soon though because I want the 3TE sets to start happening. I could see him sitting for the Steelers too though, that would give him an extra week with the bye.

Would have been nice to see Rowe in this spot.

sweet!
congrats!

congrats, Dutch!

I mean, fuck the Seahawks and all but that sounds really tame, definitely not worth of being punished like they were.

edit: Congrats, Dutch!

Rowe was outplayed by Mills (and Grymes...and C.J. Smith) all offseason and preseason. You'd want the worse player on the field just because they looked good last year? He didn't look good this year in this scheme.

Good read on why Carson Wentz looked so comfortable in his first NFL start.

When Wentz was at North Dakota State, he was doing many of the same things Eli Manning, Tony Romo and Kirk Cousins had been doing in the NFC East. Among college quarterbacks, that made him an outlier.

Jon Gruden came to know Wentz—and the other top quarterbacks in the draft class—through his Jon Gruden QB Camp series for ESPN. He has become familiar with all of the highly rated quarterback prospects since the show began in 2012.

"Wentz was better prepared than just about anybody we've had come through here from a football standpoint," Gruden said. "He's been in a huddle. He was in multiple personnel groupings. He was calling the shifts, formations, motions and multiple snap counts. He wasn't looking to the sideline for the coach to wave some board.

"They gave him the information and put it on him at the line of scrimmage to get them in the right play. He audibled, he hand-signaled. He did a lot of things quarterbacks aren't doing in NCAA football."

You wake up at 10 for work ?

About 9:30. Roll into work at around 10:00. Software dev hours!

Regardless, on Sunday I have other shit to do. Maybe get brunch, nurse a hangover, do some house work. Shit needs to get taken care of and hopping out of bed to immediately start watching the games is annoying.

If Monday/THursday night games started at 5:30 or whatever it would be a nightmare too. Wouldn't even have time to cook dinner.

You are really going to judge a guy based off of preseason? Also who says he looked worse then those guys? What part of the game did he/they play, what defenses were they running then, what plays were their opponents playing then? There are like a million moving parts trying to judge anything off the preseason seems silly. For what ever reason the new regime didnt like Rowe so they shipped him off for next to nothing. It looks bad because the Eagles have almost no depth at CB, and he was a guy Chip brought in and Howie has moved so many Chip guys in such a short amount of time.

Taunting at the end was complete bs, but the Browns got some favorable calls too:

Andy Dalton leads the league in passing yards, DeAngelo Williams leads the league in rushing yards, Stefon Diggs leads the league in receiving yards. I would not have expected any of those two weeks ago.

Who will back up Jacoby Brisset Thursday?

Sounds like they're not adding another quarterback, so it'll be Edelman.

In 5 SEA loses to the Rams w/Russ at QB:

Russ: 85.1 passer rating with five TD passes and five INTs

Rams QBs: 97.9 rating, five TD passes, one INT

So Packers-GAF people on nfl reddit have been speculating on what is wrong with Aaron Rodgers ever since his 2014 injury.. Stuff regarding his poor footwork and his knee surgery and why he is reluctant to plant to throw.

If sex makes you worse at football, I'm sure most people would just take the millions of dollars, fuck super models and be slightly worse at football. Unless you're a weirdo like JJ Watt.

Also the Munn stuff is and always has been in bad taste and sexist. Sad!
