Very pleasantly surprised by Pederson's play calling.

I mean yeah wow didn't expect anything from Wentz but Pederson is using all his backs and so far has called the right plays at the right time.

Even the drops or missed throws have been wide open, just poor execution.

If Mathews ever learns to catch consistently and Ertz is healthy, the Eagles quietly have a good set of skill players with the RBs, TEs, and WRs they have. Wish they took more shots with DGB.

There should be a fade/lob play for him every redzone trip. That last throw to Agholor, if thrown DGB's way would have been a catch.

Man, how the hell did the Bears even stop them in the first half?

Not that the Bears D didn't play better, but the Eagles offense moved up and down but would stall in the redzone. Huge drops by Mathews and the WRs.

Then after half the Bears D players started dropping like flies so it opened up even more.

Eagles have missed about 2-3 TDs for which they either settled for 3 or didn't get any points.

Yeah he's had some really creative playcalling in these 2 games. He's been a nice surprise and is making Wentz' transition to the NFL easy.

And yeah, hopefully DGB gets more plays going his way. He hasn't had to do anything amazing so far, but he's caught what's been thrown to him.

This is the main problem with the bears. They have drafted horribly. If your going to get rid of all those players, you need to draft like a competent team to make up for the lost talent and they haven't done that. That is why this team is terrible more than anything else.

BAL and Philly both will be 2-0 on the backs of very easy schedules. But BAL looks really shaky while Philly is taking care of business.

I know the Bears suck but Dougie is looking like a really good coach. Offense is really sharp. Like infinity times beyond the Rams

I wonder how Goff would have looked if the Eagles had taken him. I didn't like him one bit but I am sure he would have been playing and would have be 10x more ready.

Yep. All the talent left combined with horrible drafts.

Philly has played some genuinely awful teams so far though.

I love my iggles but the steelers are going to dismantle us on sunday.

Always feels good to blow out an opponent on national TV.

Total reversal from the Chip era. Love not losing TOP every week.

Cmon now I know its shit on Chip for many Eagles fans, but they had plenty of blowouts in hist first 2 seasons.

It's like people forget how explosive the offense was the first 2 seasons.

Agreed. Things to take away from this game are that Wentz is looking legit, but the offense is having the problems we thought they'd have. They put up 29 points, yeah, but the Bears D started dropping like flies in the second half. Still, lots of good things to take from this game. Steelers should be a good check for how legit this team really is.

The Eagles have beat two bad teams, but they pulled away in both games. It's what good teams do. Next week will be a real test.
