Too many ships on the sea for anyone to really care? I've always seen Junkrat as the Joker type but never put too much thought into a 76 as batman. Reaper wears the black though so maybe that's why? The real question is who is Commissioner Gordan and who is Harley Quinn in this scenario?

76 is first gen. Which is what makes that pairing problematic since he's like 18 years older and would be/have been her superior officer.
Honestly it annoys me that people are so stuck on pairing Mercy up with ever charcter under the sun. She's one of the most skilled people in the entire cast considering she's an expert at standard medicine, a field medic, a cybernetics expert, and managed to save several cast members that should be straight up dead through unknown means. Seems like relatively little fanart focuses on these, in-universe aspects of her character and instead is focused on shipping her to high heaven.
But, I'm an old square that hates shipping in general so don't worry about me.

To be fair to myself, I only ever ship her with one character. And also we're picking out pictures we personally find appealing? So if you want to seek out Mercy pics or any other Overwatch character that generally just show them doing their usual shit, that's fine by me. Hell. There's over 90 pages of pictures, who says dozens of the type of Mercy pics you're asking about weren't already posted and people were avoiding reposts? Like look I can post Mercy reading a medical book:

This is kinda why the only shipping picture that I really enjoyed is the one with Mercy behind 76 saying something like "you are still our hero jack". Little actual "romance" in it and more a nod to his former position, with the shipping being able to be written off as just admiration for one of the actual "heroes" of their time.
Of course I'm also with you on your final statement so my opinion on the matter doesn't really matter.
