It being an arcadey sports game is kind of cool. Passing, shooting, and sliding all looked fun. I'm not sure how well the moba elements fit into it though.

it's a multiplayer game. You should have seen the amount of pushback from even good games like Overwatch.

Welp.

Remove the buildables, implement an optional powerup system instead, and it'd probably be more interesting.

So why did they invite all the fgc people to show this off? This looks like Moba x sports.

Yeah I don't get it either.

It looks nothing close.

I mean I guess they're cheaper to get a hold of since the scene is smaller, that's about all I can come up with lol.

Does anyone have a link to the New World trailer. Also checking Amazon the price is 0. I wonder if it is free-to-play with microtransaction (that would suck).

I'm not entirely sure why they thought it was a good idea to invite people who play primarily fighting games and some FPS to a MOBA style game?

They know moba fans are already dedicated to the moba of their choice. They're trying to poach gamers from other communites. Thats my thought anyway

According to UltraDavid there are a bunch of FGC people on the dev team, guess they just called their friends.

I don't know what this game is based on the website's description. It also doesn't help that there's no trailer.

The website calls it a "sport brawler". It seems you also build stuff on the battlefield? Will this game be kind of like Starhawk, where it's a third person shooter/RTS?

I'll uh...keep my eyes on this. It has me curious.

Yeah buildables look like they need toned down. The power ups were just kind of boring. I guess they give a reason to control the center, but "kill this and get health/damage the rest of round" doesn't seem like it adds a ton of strategy. I don't like the idea of equipping items either. I'd rather not have to worry about who's ahead in farm or what items people are building in a game like this.

It'll pretty much come to how interesting the character kits are for me. If you're considering combos, counters, and positioning while worrying about moving the ball then it could be good game, but the match they showed didn't look terribly exciting.

Crucible and New World both looked promising. Seems like they have a ways to go, but I liked what they showed.

Finally found some video on youtube

IDK.... The concept is interesting, but the artstyle isn't good, the graphics is poor, and the animation feels stiff too.

Hmmm. I don't know, that video didn't do much for me. Again, though...the concept of this game is interesting. It's definitely unlike any game I've seen in quite a while. The closest thing it reminds me of is Starhawk, but that game is very different from this.
