This is like the least important aspect of the whole email saga thus far. Hillary signing off with "peace out" would be more scandalous.

You guys want a scandal? How about George W Bush admin "losing" 22 million emails?
Most troubling, researchers found a suspicious pattern in the White House email system blackouts, including periods when there were no emails available from the office of Vice President Dick Cheney. “That the vice president’s office, widely characterized as the most powerful vice president in history, should have no archived emails in its accounts for scores of days—especially days when there was discussion of whether to invade Iraq—beggared the imagination,” says Thomas Blanton, director of the Washington-based National Security Archive.
Bush administration emails could have aided a special prosecutor’s investigation into a White House effort to discredit a diplomat who disagreed with the administration’s fabricated Iraq WMD evidence by outing his CIA agent wife, Plame. Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, who was brought in to investigate that case, said in 2006 that he believed some potentially relevant emails sent by aides in Cheney's office were in the administration's system but he couldn’t get them.
The supposedly lost emails also prevented Congress from fully investigating, in 2007, the politically motivated firing of nine U.S. attorneys. When the Democrat-led Senate Judiciary Committee subpoenaed related emails, Bush’s attorney general, Alberto Gonzalez, said many were inaccessible or lost on a nongovernmental private server run by the RNC and called gwb43.com. The White House, meanwhile, officially refused to comply with the congressional subpoena.
Meanwhile, the episode has been nearly forgotten by almost everyone but the litigants. A source involved with the stymied congressional investigation recalled the period as “an intense time,” but the Obama administration didn’t encourage any follow-up, devoting its political capital to dealing with the crashing economy rather than investigating the murky doings that took place under his predecessor. Since then, no major media outlet has devoted significant—or, really, any—resources to obtaining the emails, or to finding out what was in them, or what, exactly, the Bush administration was hiding (or losing).
It's so crazy that no one even talks about this.

The answer is always no until she's arrested or indicted

While innocent until proven guilty is a great stance to take ideologically, it's not the case here. The justice system fails all the time for various reasons. This may very well be failure for the "greater good" considering the other candidate.

Anyone who has worked with classified information knows replicating what she did would more often than not result in being locked up only to get out to find a stain on your record so dark you'd be lucky to find a job getting paid under the table.

I can gleam that she was indeed guilty and simply let off the hook just by skimming quotes from the FBI report. I know I literally wouldn't get a fourth of the way to what she did without having guns drawn at me.

I will say that government methodologies and practicalities regarding classified information for political leaders are woefully out of date, and probably lead Hillary to her setup which resulted in this fumble. Nontheless, the systems are in place for security and under any other circumstance the zero tolerance policy would be in play.

It's a unique situation where she walked away with a hell of a scolding followed by "no harm, no foul". I am in no way a supporter in full of either of these candidates, but there is truth in this nonsense.

If even a small portion of Trumps scandals are true he deserves jail time too. The Republicans are a disgrace just for letting him on stage. I'm not surprised Clinton is leading polls and getting shrugs on this from the general population with what Trump has said and apparently done.

In a sad way this and all of Trumps screw ups are reflective of what voters are willing to overlook to maintain the other aspects of their candidate which really doesn't get us anywhere.

I wish policy was discussed more often as to promote the ideas that each side are willing to give and take to make logical wholly agreed upon strides forward.

The FBI literally stated that no one would ever be arrested for doing what Clinton did... no one. They emphasized that the only way Clinton would be receiving special treatment from the FBI is if they arrested her.

Explain why FBI Director James Comey, a Republican who hates Clinton, let her off the hook.

I'm interested to hear what conspiracy theory you offer.

Heh. I always find this argument kinda funny. "Well I was a low level data analyst for the CIA once and they didn't let me use my private email. If they wouldn't let me, I don't know why they'd let some nobody like the Secretary of State."

No shit? Are the Republicans under the assumption the Obama WH wouldn't be interested in clearing it's own name in the email "scandal"?

Thanks for covering that for me.

Why is it that I could get fired I came in 3 hours late every day to my job, but if the CEO did the same thing, it would be totally okay?

To add to that:

FBI Director Comey’s unprecedented and improper decision to discuss the investigation publicly was wrong and his opinions on carelessness unfounded. Indeed, his recklessness is what is highlighted here.

While there are a couple of stray questions to be resolved (example: Clinton should explain her answer regarding the (C) markings as the FBI Report is rather unclear), what is clear is that the FBI report fully exonerates Clinton not only from criminal charges, but from any charge of carelessness of recklessness with classified information.

Clinton was careless with her record preservation obligations and, in my view, violated those obligations.

But on the rest? Not only is she cleared, she is fully exonerated.

Is she dead yet from super aids related pneumonia?

I'm just so tired of it all. Listening to talk about her emails is worse than a Trump presidency.

So was this the Wed. thing the alt-right kept harping about? Fucking weak sauce.

No, that was the WikiLeaks press conference that ended up being a "Please buy my book. pls" event.

Later in the day, russian hackers released more data hacked from the DNC and misattributed the data to the clinton foundation (which was quickly debunked and found to not originate from there) including a folder called "pay to play" that ..... was opposition research against republicans and accusing the republicans of engaging in pay to play activities.

Basically, it was a whole lotta nothing.

Posting a gotcha! thread about a non-issue on Hillary Clinton's emails, on an ultra-liberal web forum that actually ranks top-10 for linking to Hillary's own website?
