I hope he isn't an incoherent babbling mess. Really hate when he says random things. I think it would be difficult for him to win this debate, he must be demoralized with people un-endorsing him and the polls going south.

I am pretty sure he is going to bring up Bill Clinton, although that's probably a bad idea and people will hate him more for that. It's just a complete disaster at this point.

My speculation:

This is what I'm seeing so far:

Trump started out the first debate by trying to play the nice guy. He said out loud that he's not going to say certain things because he wants to be nice. (Whether or not he's full of shit about the nice guy shtick is irrelevant).

Clinton hit him with Machado, and now this.

Now he has Casus belli to hit back with what he didn't say the first time. Now he can be the ass he always wanted to be, but this time with "justification".

Remember that line in The Dark Knight about "escalation"?

Next debate isn't going to be pretty. Bring your popcorn.
