A lot of the rhetoric that Trump is using is very similar to what the Nazis used before and when they were getting into power. The Nazis didn't start off with killing the Jews. Trump uses the fear of the other just like the Nazis did. Trump creates scapegoats for societies problems in groups of people and nonwhite nations whether they are blacks, illegal immigrants, Mexico, or China. He has suggested not only banning Muslims, but also making them register into a system to identify themselves with. He is also spouting very authoritarian things about the role of police with how frisking should be instituted nationally. He believes in strengthening the military even more then it already is. He wants to kick groups of people out of this country. Hell that Nazis original plan for the Jews was to kick them out of the country.
I am not saying Trump is going to start WW3 and start killing minorities, but there are similarities. I am starting to get worried that Nazis and WW2 are becoming so distant that they are turning into these mythical evilness that nothing can ever compare to again. That even comparing Nazis with something is outright rejected even if there is some merit to it. I fear that a day will come when things are a lot worse than they are now and someone who share the exact same types ideologies as Hitler will come into power but people will reject the notion that that person is the second coming of Hitler because people will only compare him to the cartoonish evil Hitler that they know of and not the charismatic and charming Hitler who rose to power.
