Someone brought up KFC in another thread and I immediately thought of a double down sandwhich from KFC. I only had it a few times cause there's no KFC locally but boy was it delicious. I wish they didn't discontinue it again.

I also liked their Buffalo Snacker:

Such a great value. A 99 cent sandwhich.

Hungry jacks (or Burger King) had a Homer Burger when the Simpsons movie was out over here in Australia. Ditto for The Michael Jordan burger when Space Jam was at the movies, except that was Mcdonalds.

Both were magnificent.

Carls' Jr used to have a really good steak sandwich some 15yrs ago, but they discontinued it.
Several years later, they "brought it back", but it wasn't the same. The steak was now really tough and had an awful taste to it.

I also liked Pizza Huts Dipper pizza. Was a limited time thing but it was great.

Another one I miss is Pizza Huts big foot pizza.

That used to fill our family up. We've all grown since then tho so I doubt 1 bigfoot would do it anymore.

Domino's AU's cheese and bacon burst crust option. It stopped being offered about a decade ago now. Late last year, competitor Eagle Boys introduced its cheese-only equivalent, which I continue to hope eventually becomes cheese and bacon.

Edit: The only photo I've ever been able to find is from a New Zealand product review site:

The chicken enchilada burrito at Taco Bell was pretty good, was disappointed to see it go.

Also they keep getting rid of freeze flavors I like, first sangrita and now orange crush. What's up with that :(

McDonald's Mighty Wings...:(

I must have been the only person at my campus to have bough them. Fucking amazing with blue cheese and Gatorade blue.

Runner Up: Tacobell Steak Baja Chalupas

Intellectual Choice: Wendy's original formula spicy chicken sandwich

My local michelin starred restaurant used to serve a pan roasted marinated grilled quail served on a bed of sauteed and herbed potatoes and sous-vided vegetable served with a flavoursome jus that I was a great fan of.

the ghost pepper griller taco bell had was the only actually hot thing i've ever seen a fast food restaurant sell

volcano taco is #2 just for that lava sauce

I would have said the Crispy Chicken Deluxe at McDonalds, but the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken is a fine nod to that sandwich.

So I'll say the...

Mushroom and Swiss Angus Third Pounder

4 alarm from Wendy's

Spicy chicken items from Taco Bell. Also, Ikind of miss the old Baja Chalupa. I know you can still get it, but it just doesn't taste the same as it did back in the early 00's.

I can barely remember half of most fast food menus in general, let alone something that was discontinued. If I miss something, I'm sure it was either some form of fried chicken or an ice cream flavour.

I don't eat too much fast food, so nothing really. Not a menu item, but the only discontinued thing I can think of is...

Revolution and Supernova. Voltage sucked, yet it won the DEWmocracy event. However, I really don't drink soda much anymore.

Glad we still get these here. I order the volcano burrito every time I go. Last time I went, they just added the Volcano Quesarito too.
