This is surreal
I'm afraid the Canes won't be sniffing the playoffs this year.
You guys are all a bunch of idiots and losers for rooting for the teams that play where you live or used to live. You should all be rooting for the team that plays where I live or used to live: The Orange County California USA Ducks
Playoffs are overrated.
Sometimes it's just good enough your team even exists.
Love every day.
You need to stop this positivity and start shitting on all those damn arrogant canadian fans like you always doPlayoffs are overrated.

That's what the MLB Playoff thread is for right now.
Their young players look good but they are probably still a year or two or from being a consistently good team. They need consistent goalie's and most of the good prospects are still young. It's still fun to watch though and it always nice to have more people talking about them.Pats fan representing! All praise GOAT!
First year I'm going to follow hockey. Local team is the Canes.. Who I know have sucked for years, but this year feels different... What say you gaf? Will I spend this season constantly asking why am I torturing myself? Also any tips on keeping track of players during the games? Have a hard time with the constant line changes.

Going through this as a Coyotes fan. Finally get their shit together and then there's no arena deal on the horizon. Great...

Good choice. Not a Raiders fan myself, but they're a young improving team that should be on the up over the next few years.
You are not alone Cosmic, for there is another Yotes fan that stands among us.

Since the inaugural season, when my family moved to AZ right before they came to Phoenix. Switched from the Wings. I'm not that smart.
Omg I can't handle these many newcomers at once
I feel like I'm gonna die

I like Phoenix. Every time I've been there for a Wings game it feels like a home game.
I don't mind the influx of wings fans. At least they can name a few players from before 2007, unlike Chicago fans.

Johnny Gaudreau's deal includes a five-team trade list for the final season. He picks where he can be dealt.
also spend money at Glendale and visit the other fantastic tourist locations Glendale has to offer. Such as, this car park. It's a very nice car park. And good too.
I can wait a few years
Glendale is just a 'burb in a big city, people know the deal. Stay in the PV/Scottsdale area, go out to Glendale for the cheapest hockey ever, maybe some booze before and after.
Pretty sure this is finally it so i'm just going to enjoy the kids and not worry about it
Johnny Hockey and The Ghostbear
That sounds pretty good

I've never been more optimistic about the Habs going into a season than this season, which is saying a lot considering Subban isn't a Hab anymore.
I'm not as upset as I was when PK was traded that day. I think I've entered the acceptance stage
*Woody's So Long, Friend*
I'll never be happy with it, but outside of that terrible trade, this off season has been very good for the Habs.I'm not as upset as I was when PK was traded that day. I think I've entered the acceptance stage

True. This is a good point. I was thinking basically everything until your announcement that you moved this to OT (this would be the first post).
I defer to your good judgement.
Lou also said Prust will not be signed by opening day but has agreed to stay on and practice w/ team. Can't travel, but great guy in room.
This has been done!
I basically kept the first 100 posts and then moved everything else in-between back to the offseason thread.

Late to this, but Prust still hasn't been cut/released from his PTO by the Leafs but confirmed not to be on the roster either.

Why does it feel like Prust is sticking around not to be just a "great guy in room" but to be on standby when a spot frees up via injury and/or cap availability? Barring another team having interest of course.
This smells like some Lou cap shenanigans in the making.
