Yeah I have a feeling they didn't have access to it during the preview session. There's no way they would straight up remove that without some sort of replacement because it made finding specific Pokémon actually possible.

Speaking of features what's the word on O-powers? I guess it falls into communication which Gamexplain said they were not allowed to talk about 
GX cards so far are fantastic. The layout works very well with 5ban Graphics's style. I always thought that his artwork felt a bit too "restrained" in smaller, less dynamic frames. Incidentally, Lycanroc's design stands out in a very positive way in 3D. Feels unreal that after six generations and 721 Pokémon there still hadn't been a Wolf Pokémon (well, Lucario aside

I enjoyed Dexnav, but not bringing it back kind of makes sense.
It's possible they give it to you later on or it wasn't available for the demo. I wouldn't put it past Game Freak to remove a good addition like they have in the past but this one seems like it would stick given its XY sort of predecessor, plus the more competitive-friendly design Sun/Moon has showcased.
Anyway, since we're talking teams, here's the one i've thinking of thus far:

Vikavolt/Tapu Koko (it depends on if TK is a legendary or not)

Considering:

It's probably not going to come back. There's no reason not to mention it even so close to release. I feel lucky that we even got trainer customization back.
Maybe there will be another way to get HAs.

Ok so looking at the most recent Chinese Riddler compilation image from the last update:
Notice how there is a staff next to Jangmo-O that looks very similar to its final evolution's tail. Could that be what it was referring to?
Though also notice there is no Grimer in the lower section, same with Rattata. Does that mean these Pokemon are in the game, yet DON'T get Alolan forms? What does the faded mean then? THE RIDDLES

Not confirmed, but it's looking increasingly likely that the old leak that image comes from is legit. So far, nothing has disproven it and new official details only point to it further.

The confirmation of no DexNav in Sun & Moon is a huge hit on my hype for the game. I wonder what the means for rematching trainers? My fears of Sun & Moon going back to stadiums and cafes for rematching trainers is slowly creeping up on me.
Hopefully they'll show of a feature similar to the DexNav, just with a different name. So far, the new features that they've shown for Sun & Moon have been disappointing.

DexNav always felt like a step too far to me; I thought that DPPt's Pokeradar was more than enough. Being able to force specific encounters just... I guess robbed a little magic from the series?

GameXplain just put out a video talking about how you'll be able to seek out trainers for rematches. I wouldn't worry on that score.
DexNav was fun, but I got too obsessive compulsive about it and honestly stopped using it pretty early on. It being out is no big loss to me, but I do hope they have some interesting method of fishing out rarer Pokemon in specific areas. I thought perhaps RotomDex would have a similar feature, but we haven't heard much about it since it was revealed and it seems to be your standard PokeDex + quest markers and info.

riddler doesn't dictate how many evos it has, just positions
riddler suggested exactly what Jangmo-o is (monk, the monk staff was very specific), as well as other specific hints (Oranguru for one)

Also if you guys have any leftover Pokemiles, I would use them up soon since they are going to wipe everything for the Global Link rehaul when Sun/Moon comes out. I recommend boosting some Ditto to 100 with rare candies since you can use bottle caps to bring it's IVs to 31. Unless Sun and Moon has some level 100 Audino horde, I think the fastest way to get perfect Pokes would be just using your boosted Ditto to breed.
I meant the exploding Alpaca part specifically since afaik there hasn't been even a rumor of a mon like outside of this.
