This doesn't hold up to me. You're just criticizing them for making the game they want to make and not the game YOU want them to make. That's not criticizing, that's just complaining.
It's like "criticizing" a racing game for not being an FPS.

The way they word it:
kinda gives me some Destiny like vibes on how it'll function. Granted its waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too early to make any assumptions but I just had this gut reaction to that small description. I think that could be fun, as long as it's more functional than Destiny (and GTA5 for that matter) was. An always online world where you can tackle the story with either the AI, alone or with friends (or strangers too) could make for a very fun game.
Again though, waayyyy too early to assume anything other than the fact that the art used for the teasers is amazing.

Their "masculine" stories are awful and reuse the same satire that was last fresh or edgy in the 1990's. God forbid their fans encourage them to try something different in the hopes of some improvement.

What are you not understanding about the title? It's a sequel to redemption, red dead redemption 2. That doesn't imply it's the second game of the entire red dead franchise at all.
Does the name GTA 4 imply that vice city and San Andreas don't exist?
I'm amazed if delaying PC port until all other possible versions of the GTAV were done wasn't intentional tactic from marketing and sales point of view. Last-gen original, current-gen remaster and PC remaster of remaster. Get them X amount dippers and PC crowd at the end. It made them insane bank so them trying to repeat it here, assuming PC port will ever come, didn't come as surprise.

Rockstar are the only devs I give this pass too, and I give it happily.
I will, however, be buying it for Pro or Scorpio pending whichever has the 60fps version and some bells and whistles - then play it in 4K/60fps (my rig hardware will be super good by then no doubt) after the ~1-2 year wait for the PC version

March 2018 would still work fine for me. 2017 is absolutely packed, and besides, it's just a few more months.

honestly if they had a female in there. it would ruin it for me, it wouldn't be realistic at all, just a very unlikely scenario.

Considering how CPU-dependent open world games are it's a pretty sure bet that neither the Pro or the Scorpio will run this above 30fps, even less so considering the mantra for both of these things is 4K gaming.
