To be fair, I spend like 60 percent of my work day playing 3DS now...and I own a share of the business. ;PIn 6 months:

I like the logo. It looks like a ladybug.

That Nintendo is reviving the branding of my favourite console of all time is very exciting.

It looks chunky, extra processing power perhaps?
I wonder if there's a reason for the top of the portable/screen to still come out even when fully docked, other than to grab its bezel to slide it out because that'd be super sloppy design

Will this thing work like a wiiu as well? Or is that completely off the table?
Specs?

To those asking about battery life on Nintendo Switch, I'm hearing "mediocre" battery life.
That's a classy looking console. I'm down, now nail everything else.

Give me the Souls trilogywon't happen
The animation in the trailer needs to be on boot every time.

Xbox being green
PlayStation being blue
Now Nintendo going Red!
Hopefully this carries on into their game packages etc.
I am highly skeptical, I worry that each component will have to have its own battery and all of the components, screen and controllers need to last a long while to be suitable as a portable
Im also skeptical that the portable aspect will limit the home games.
I worry battery life and console power go hand in hand and I worry they will limit eachother.
This tech is awesome but I also thinks it's less exciting than VR to me personally and I can't really justify buying both a switch and a VR headset.
I do really like the concept and I want it to succeed because I do like what Nintendo is doing, I am in awe on a purely technical level but slightly less excited as a practical gamer

And unfortunately single screen
I dislike that the red ball on the right side of the logo is not symmetrical with the white ball on the left side. It's closer to the middle. Why?

It matches the control stick placement on the little controller wand dealies. Also it drives home the yin-yang.I dislike that the red ball on the right side of the logo is not symmetrical with the white ball on the left side. It's closer to the middle. Why?
Are those display ports?
That's gonna suck.

How so? They still played Zelda, Mario kart, splatoon etc. if they should off battlefield or COD I would agree. Not sure if it was mentioned here, but it seems that Nintendo might be targeting an older more hardcore demographic with Switch judging by the trailer, which they haven't done for at least a decade now.
That means they're competitive with Sony and MS in their market, which is awesome.
I thought all those pics of Dugtrio I'd been seeing were photoshopped.Like this but with better textures: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbxQXwwURPY

And Skyrim, and that massive list of third-party publisher support. How so? They still played Zelda, Mario kart, splatoon etc. if they should off battlefield or COD I would agree.
Great idea! Listen to this man Nintendo!I would assume that bit of screen will be used for notifications and such.
Is it getting Minecraft?
Nintendo Switch? Well, I guess gamers are suckers for punishment...
