Anyone else find it odd that Play Asia is releasing an "exclusive" Soldner X2 - Final Prototype Vita?

How strange. Did LRG know about the NIS release?

I love giving LRG my business, but my order of priority for buying games is Vita > PS4 > PC > anything else. I missed the window on Silver Case anyway, but PS4 version may be a buy (I'll be crossing all fingers and toes for a Vita version in the future though).

NISA also publishes and distributes games on PlayStation platforms across North America and Europe. That means if Grasshopper went with LRG for the PS4 version they'd probably still have to find a publisher or self publish the digital version themselves. Probably easier to partner with NISA to kill two birds with one stone.

It makes sense for them to do it all in one deal, physical and digital in all western markets.

As much as I like LRG you can't really offer that :) And a physical game is a physical game

Nope, we had no idea. Kind of bummed actually. It makes sense since Grasshopper Manufacture is owned by GungHo and GungHo published Republique through NIS. But no, we didn't know anything about this. :(

sowwie :-(. This bizzness deal ain't easy. Hoping you get Atelier Ayesha + as a physical release and Cosmic Star Heroine comes soon. I'd snatch that up so fast.

Figured this was the case. Darn, guess I gotta get thr PS4 one too!

All those steelbook PC Indie Boxes announced for Gamestop today too.

Luckily with stuff like Volume, Nuclear Throne and Steamworld it's been shown that LRG is able to wrangle the Vita lane, even if the PC or PS4 lanes are being handled elsewhere. Same with Silver Case the other way around, I suppose.

shame that these are gamestop exclusive :(
down for nuclear throne tho

I'm still happy cause I seriously doubt that the PS4 physical will look anywhere as cool as the LRG version. I'll pick up the PS4 physical copy later on down the road when it's cheap.

NISA is publishing The Silver Case PS4. Physical and digital.

oh thank god, was just lamenting not having had the $ for this LRG version, in!

Looks like it's just PC. Shame, I thought I finally had a route to play Axiom Verge. Really cool partnership though, glad to see this kind of thing growing!

oh? man for the right price i'd be all over that then! good to hear

LRG might chime in but I doubt they own the rights to the CE extras being produced but we will see. It should be ok though the audience for the PC release is probably different from the PS4 release so I don't see this hurting them to much hopefully. A lot of their audience might get both.

Meh, feel for you guys then. Seeing a lot of companies encroach on your turf lately.

Still, you're the only ones supporting Vita so you're the ones getting all my money!

So that's one of the November Vita games. I'm guessing the other is Steamworld.

So that leaves two PS4/Vita games, right?

(and no Oddworld :( )

I heard about this. I was actually waiting to see it with my own eyes before selling my big Indieboxes (like I said : not much into collectibles)

Couldn't get Rogue Legacy at the time, so that's great :D
Plus apparently some of these games are truly exclusive (like Stories).

Although if Gamestop gets all the Indieboxes releases : I'll probably end up cancelling my subscription in favor of import. They say they won't have them all, but it's hard to justify a sub when you're simply not "sure".

I'm just annoyed it's US only so it will be a hassle to import.

Decided not to get The Silver Case after all, because it's just too close to the other releases from this month and I think I'd rather get the PS4 physical copy.

I'm in for Shantae though!

Just tried preordering the Gamestop Indieboxes. It's 25$ of shipping... PER GAME. It's insane ! At that point they can't assemble numerous preorders in one single box...

Guess I'll have to resort to Shipito for the first time :s

Edit : pfff. Even with a US address it's still 5$ per game. So stupid.

Am I the only one here that totally hates steelbook releases? Maybe it's just me though because after a few years in high humidity, any steel book looks like rusty scrap metal.
I don't have an opinion on this. How do they fare if you don't store them underwater ?

I still feel it's better than big Indieboxes which felt a bit cheap at time

I ordered from Gamestop once, not only was the shipping not cheap but when the UPS guy was at my door he wanted another $13. Got me so pissed I never ordered anything from them again.
