I can go back to his first three albums-pre first three albums and remember the time in my life that I really enjoyed em growing up. Tastes change of course, and you know I can't stand his new shit, but still...thats enough for me to put him somewhere in my top 10.

Likewise for why Wayne and Ye are in my list.

As for the other artists, they're still somewhat consistent towards my tastes nowadays.

I know the thread says "of all time" but that's too difficult for me, so I approached it more from the stand point of the people who came to mind first as making music that has really blown me away consistently. Also worth noting that there's often a big difference, to me, between my favorite rappers and who I would consider to be the "best" rappers.

Bahamadia and Akua Naru ( She is awesome, we used to rock out back in the day) on a list from somebody with a Jill Scott avatar? You had to either hang out at the 5Spot or be from somewhere close. That is some regional hip hop...and a Rapsody sighting? Lemme find out you a emcee on the lo-key.

You can tell a lot about a person from there choice of fave rappers.
