Y'all is crazy, the English VA is fantastic. I've laughed a bunch just in these opening moments. It's just very...cartoony and exaggerated, not bad. Tama's speech impediment is annoying but it's whatever. I really like both main characters and this game looks fucking GORGEOUS on my PS4.

Now gimme my goddam Cactuar.

Streamed the first 90 minutes last night for GameXplain, then replayed the first 90 minutes and played quite a bit beyond that immediately afterward. Anyone who's streamed before knows that games typically lose a lot of their atmosphere and command less attention overall when you're streaming to a bunch of people, and it became clear early on that WoFF is the kind of game that deserves one's full, undivided attention. The English voice acting really is something special (though the style isn't for everyone and if you can't stand it, I get it) and Hamauzu-san's soundtrack is essential. It's SO good.

I played all the way up through

and the ensuing boss battle, but then I foolishly didn't save right after winning and Lann ended up accidentally KOing the

with a counterattack. The fact that you have to go out of your way to find it at all suggests to me that it's at least a somewhat rare Mirage, so I decided to call it a night without saving so I can properly Imprism it tonight. The aforementioned boss was super easy, so beating it again shouldn't be a problem - and I get to listen to that killer boss theme again!

I'm so confused by people saying they didn't get the English voices on the Vita version. I downloaded the English DLC just fine when I bought the game on PSN. Like I had downloads for Japanese voices, English voices, and all the Day One stuff as well as the game and patch just thrown into the queue when I bought earlier this morning. I'm in the U.S. Is it other territories or something?

I can see how some people wouldn't like it. The humor can't be for everyone. But I think its funny, specially Lann.

In the forest, there is a cockatrice looking enemy that has the sizzle ability.

Yeah, shoulda mentioned I had the physical copy. It seems like the psn page was messed up for this game earlier, so I'm hoping that the English VO just got lost in the scramble and they're working on putting it up, but I haven't seen any official confirmation on it.

I thought I was the only one having this issue. The listing is clearly bugged. The demo was also listed days later. I wonder if they are having some problems due to the nature of the game (patch/dlc/game, all at once). No wonder the Vita page has almost no ratings.

Well, nothing to do but wait. Hopefully it won't take that long. I can't wait to play this. I really liked the demo.
