The rumor's complete garbage. Not a single thing is mentioned once in the entire video posted.
The video is just a spin off of Game Center CX where Masaru Hamaguchi, the other member of the comedy pair Yoiko, demos newer Nintendo titles and completes little missions. Hamaguchi's assignment is to spend a "week" long vacation in Hyrule (1 minute = 1 hour in game).
Day 1: Cook Mountain-Ocean Stir-fry at a campsite.
Day 2: Investigate a Bokoblin fort.
Day 3: Search for treasure near the mountain hut.
Day 4: Climb Mt. Hylia - Watch the sunrise from the summit.
Day 5: Find a raft and ride downstream.
Day 6: Explore at your leisure (time was spent completing Day 5's challenge)
Day 7: Battle the Iwarock. They contact Aonuma who tells them a trick to beating it.

This is somewhat unrelated to what your final point was, but I do enjoy the running gag in Zelda games, where the first thing they show Link doing is... sleeping. Usually oversleeping. And somebody comically wakes him up.
He might not have been sleeping in this one... the room is called the "Resurrection Chamber"

IGN just clarified on twitter that there is no new trailer coming tomorrow. I think what they tried to say on snapchat is that they would talk about a previous Zelda trailer tomorrow.

That's a stupid reason to diss a game entirely. This game seems like it'll be driven by lore like Dark Souls. That adds a shit ton of replayability.

I'm certain that the towers are not all called resurrection towers. The game calls them Sheikah towers. Resurrection Tower is most likely just the name of the first tower because it's named after the Shrine of Resurrection that's nearby.
