this reminds me of something

I know it's not the place to ask but I saw yesterday a woman that was carried in a wheelbarrow, and she had a HUGE leg. Like, severely swollen, maybe three times the size of her other leg. Anyone knows what kind of condition does this ? (I'm not in a very wealthy country right now so medical care might not be an option for everyone)
