I think SNL recovered from their big cast refresh a few years ago. The cast now is pretty solid although the loss of Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah hurt. One of the most important things I think happened in the last few years with this show is that it found its footing in the Internet age. The writing is different but I think it meshes well with the state of the show now. Should be very interesting to see how Dave does.

I haven't watched SNL live in years but I think I'll try to do that for the rest of this season.
