United States Election: Nov. 8, 2016 |OT| Hate Trumps Love

Clinton was always a crappy candidate. She's experienced, but she just was not likable.

That matter in Presidential elections. Trump is proving that Big Issues largely don't matter. Perception does.

And this is even after the Access Hollywood leak....

Why is everyone surprised? You've been told for months this was Brexit 2.0. Hillary's rallies were bringing in the high hundreds / low thousands without free concerts. Turnout was huge for Trump in the primaries. The only reason you had to believe Hillary had a chance was from left-leaning political polls that didn't take into account Trump's lead with independents.

I hate that I love this.

Are the people telling us all to calm down white dudes? Because I'm worried about the quality of life of my black, gay, Latinx, and trans brothers and sisters not just for the next four years, but for the next 20 to 30 years should this man get in office and appoint justices. There is absolutely nothing to not worry about right now.

Clinton is leading by only a percentage point in Wayne County, Michigan. That’s a county Obama won by 48 percentage points. Either that result is wrong, a lot of the vote in Detroit (which is in Wayne County) is out, or the map is looking very different than it used to.
This is nuts huh

Media: Clinton is underperforming, like really badly
90% of thread: omfg we're screwed
10% of thread: pfft, my smug complacency has gotten us this far, dont worry Trump cant win lol is this your first election

90% of this thread is made up of children who don't even know how Virginia works.

I still think Clinton's going to win. I hate her with a passion and think she's a horribly corrupt bitch, but I think enough folks will ( some how ) look beyond that and elect her.

I did my part and voted my conscience though and even though I knew Trump would win my state, I still voted for Gary Johnson.

I still think Hillary's got this, but this just makes me worried for 2018 more. The GOP will now embrace Trump as a shot in the arm and Hillary will probably be an unpopular president which will help the GOP make yuge gains.

So, Florida is going to be really close. 150k lead for Trump with mostly Democratic precincts remaining. Is 100 precincts in Broward and 60 in Miami Dade and Palm Beach enough to make up the 150k?

Hey if Trump wins it'll actually rally all the libs who didn't vote to get off their asses in 2020.

Maybe this will be a true catalyst for change.

Nope.

Your conservative Supreme Court would allow every anti-minority voting supresssion law the GOP can dream up.

2020 will be a GOP landslide with minorities blocked from voting and removed from voting rolls without any remedy.

I really can't wait to see what the voter outcome is for minorities. I'm tired of so many of us com[plaining about a lack of change in the country but not even a third of us fucking vote. Shit is sickening
