Briefly, every state has a certain number of electors who cast their vote in the electoral college. Their vote is determined by the popular vote of the state. Each state has a minimum of 3 electors, and the amount they can have is determined by the states population (so highly populated states receive 20+ electors).

So if trump wins Florida he gets all 29 electors?

Clinton isn’t really a 73 percent favorite right now — Trump holds narrow leads in many swing states, some of which are likely to be called for him eventually, so her actual odds are probably lower.
