realistically speaking since trump win is pretty much a lock, what's the probability of him actually acting on all his promises like building the wall, deportations, arresting hillary and shit?
it all sounds too improbable imo

i'm going to expect he'll be just like other politicians, saying something then doing the exact opposite/doing nothing

I don't like this country anymore. I can't comprehend how this man is winning. This man is the definition of a chaos vote. There is little reason to suggest that anything this man has said will truly benefit anyone outside of extreme wealth of the nation.

I truly do not believe that Trump's policies or lack thereof will significantly affect this nation. The social aftermath of this election is going to be apocalyptic. The white vote in this election was nothing short of disgusting. Certainly some majority was to be expected, but 56% of white women is ridiculous considering fucking Hilary Clinton is winning.

Expect a lot of "I told you so"s from previously silent individuals who voted for Trump in silence.

I've been preaching tolerance over not bragging about the winning side for months now, but I expect nothing short of brutal hate being spread on both sides. That hate isn't going down in any amount of time.

The stigmas between the races is just going to get larger and larger and larger. We have four years of shitty regression up ahead, and it's nothing short of a tragedy.

Yet, people lap up his "witty" crooked Hilary meme like its fact. He's obviously RACIST, yet 25% of Latinos still vote for him!? People are outraged and show it in the Occupy Wallstreet movement the whole 99% thing, and yet you vote in a guy that will reenact trickle down to make the disparity even larger!? He says Mexico will pay for the wall, they specifically say they WONT, yet people still lap it up like its going to happen!?

why do some of the east coast and central states take so long to completely tally everything compared to the others?

just curious. i remember the same happened last election too. and the points don't go up on the board at all until they're completely done, right? so those handful of light blue states will suddenly put their points up when they're finished?

There's not a human being without fault or mistakes. Every single one of us have skeletons in our closet that we are ashamed of. The thing with Trump is that while he might stick his foot in his mouth, at least he keeps it real, more real than any other politician of recent years.

This is why Trump has such a HUGE following and the votes prove that, no doubt. People want change, people are tired of the same old same old. Trump has the backbone and insight to change this economy!!!

I have said this before and I can sympathize with some of the reasons people vote for Donald Trump, what I cannot forgive is the blatant racism they have shown and hostility to immigrants, they are blameless in all of this, they're not the reason why they're suffering, it blows my mind the seething hatred they have for minorities, I just cannot fathom why they're taking out their frustrations on us.
 
Did my part in voting Hillary here in NH, however I've been saying it for the LOOOONNGEST time and got TONNNNS of flack here on Gaf for saying Trump was a potential black swan, and sadly it looks like thats how things are turning out. These last few weeks/days if you where on the ground dealing with people directly on the subject matter of the election you (or at least I could) feel something was brewing.

Bah, fuck, hopefully I still end up wrong and shit some how switches gears.

lol it should have been obvious from the beginning. Fuck, just look at Canada and how our election last year was supposed to be a "close race". No one had a Trudeau domination.

Same shit with Brexit.

If people didn't vote because the polls told them it was going to be a Clinton landslide then quite frankly they deserve what's coming to them.

Or maybe they believe in his policies to improve the economy, through increase in jobs, increase in trade, inflation, the deficit. Maybe also because he doesn't appease people to win their vote.
