Do you believe in science? Climate change?

Yeah, to an extent. 4 years of Trump won't fuck us Floridians or other Americans or people of Earth. This election is about getting rid of the corruption in the US government and the US people have spoken. Take care of America first. #DrainTheSwamp #BuildThatWall

As a disabled person I am legitimately afraid for my own future and for the futures of all the groups he has marginalized. If the Republicans gut disability I am destitute.

Because he lost and him standing down would unify the party. Something that tonight proved was DESPERATELY needed.

Rubbish. The Democrats ignored a huge part of the electorate which is why they lost. Sanders had every right to continue campaigning. The fact Clinton still struggled against his campaign was serious signs of weakness.

well shit

Yeah, I voted for him in the state of Florida and I'm glad I did. And I generally kept quiet about it because if we showed support for him we are immediately accused of being racist, sexist, or some other awful title even though we aren't. We are tired of the status quo and corruption in the US government. Trump isn't the ideal choice, but he is a whole hell of a lot better than Clinton and the status quo that the majority of America is tired of. #DrainTheSwamp #BuildThatWall
What makes you think Trump isn't corrupt? He has more skeletons in his closet than a costume store after Halloween.

As it turns out, Back to the Future 2 was totally right. It was just off by a year.

This is the price of the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series. Tell me Cubs fans, was it worth it?

Dems need to take a hard look at themselves. The entire leadership needs to be gone. I also find it fucking stupid how the leaders of the party are not the actual candidate. Everywhere else in the world has parties and the leader of the party is the party's representative in government. The American system allows for people like Trump to run on populist ideals with no actual substance.

Desire for change, no matter the cost, is one constant reason bad men come into power. I don't love Clinton, but Trump is probably the worst choice for President in the history of The USA.

All those fuck sticks posting on The Donald and /pol/ are vindicated tonight. Their worldview is the one that was affirmed by the nation at large. Until tonight I was legitimately proud to be an American. Despite all the very real problems we certainly have as a nation, I believed, in my own way, in American Exceptionalism. I've never been more ashamed than I am at this moment.

I'm going to bed.

Look, GAF... I'm a Republican. I voted for Hillary because I think Donald Trump is reprehensible.

This is going to get lost in the pages, but for the one or two people who read it...

... Don't put your faith in government or presidents. Be good people day in and out. Don't lose hope. Be good to others. Be kind to your neighbors and strangers, even those you disagree with. Lead by example.

Progress is inevitable, even when it stumbles back and loses ground.

In the end... you can only be the best person you can be and impact others in a positive way.

I intend to.

Except when that person has the power to elect someone to Supreme court who would overturn Same-sex marriage and his running mate is against Marriage equality and a well known bigot.

If you're a straight white male, you don't lose anything with a Trump presidency. Anyone else loses big time.

I can't wait for the Trump Quote machine for at least the next four years at least. I'm in the acceptance stage in my overcoming grief phase.
