日本「面白そうだから民主党に入れた」
Japan "Sounds like fun so ill vote democratic party"
イギリス「面白そうだからEU離脱に入れた」
England "Sounds like fun so i voted to leave eu"
アメリカ「面白そうだからトランプに入れた」
US "Sounds like fun so i voted trump"

People just vote out of curiosity of what will happen of the unknown. thrill seekers by nature. I see alot of people not voting trump for his policies or anything like that besides that he is an entertainer.

Yeah I think a lot of these people just want anything that looks different. To them, any change is better than no change and voting for Hillary is just maintaining the status quo.

It's very depressing.

Maybe this will lead to another Obama 2008. The country was tired of Bush and Republicans and Obama swept the nation with his charisma.

Hold on for 2020.

That doesn't make sense though. The USA is being saved from death.

Listening to CBC they're interviewing people and a trump supporter at his rally told CBC that he didn't believe trump would win, and that Donald was just kidding about tossing out immigrants; Muslims and Hispanics are great Americans and the backbone of the economy. I feel like many people thinking this are in for a rude awakening.

Quite a few brexit voters said the same about that. Ridiculous.

The upwards of 35% of Latino voters going for Trump and lower than expected black turnout. Whyyyyyyyyyyyy. I know the young people also don't vote. We just needed everyone to come together and they didn't.

It's fucking adorable how everybody is going "Bernie bernie bernie!" now after, you know, he FUCKING GOT LESS VOTES BY A LARGE MARGIN IN THE PRIMARY WHICH IS WHY HE LOST.

But hey you know whatever that's just nothing I guess.

I'm a Hillary supporter and I'm disappointing in the outcome but dammit this thread is the best thread in all of gaf. Its hilarious as hell.

So if Trump is really that bad as President, won't the house go blue in two years? Not exactly clear how often people vote for the house and senate.

So how do non politicians and rich people take over the democratic party and not become occupy wall street?
Really that should be the goal.

This right here so much.

Both Bernie and Trump spoke to the heart of the matter to people in the rust belt. These are people who have felt ignored by the left and the right for decades now.

The hubris of the left let them believe they could move forward with just the coasts and minorities while leaving all those people behind is what sunk them. They felt that demographics were on their side so there wasn't a need to pander to unemployed former union workers.

People too mad to care for the reasons at the moment. Not that I blame them. But the whole if you don't follow my vote you're a racist idiont kinda bugs me.

PA, WI and MI going to the Republican Presidential candidate. What a goddamn clusterfuck. It's not even a question anymore that Hillary was the wrong candidate, fucking primary election results be damned. Trump electrifies people. Hillary doesn't. This was very clearly the election of the anti-establishment and the Dems fucking blew it nominating Hillary. Their mistake was going with a fucking snoozer of a candidate who has demonstrable likability problems, not to mention decades of highly exploitable baggage regardless of that not really being her fault. People have been saying it for months, and the smugness of Hillary supporters here in the face of all the criticisms laid against her really looks pretty sad now.

I really did not see this happening, though. I will admit that. I am legit in shock. I voted for Hillary (and Feingold) here in WI btw.

Man spitting truth.
