I could go on, but hopefully you will read up on things yourself and come to a more mature understanding of the way the world works, and America's noble place in the international community.

How long are you folks going to keep blaming others and not yourself for being okay with Hillary. She could fill a train with her baggage. Bernie got robbed and you all ignored and were fine with it. The ones that did call foul got shut the fuck down. You reap what you sow.

I thought the low point of these threads tonight was the poster hoping for Trump to get assassinated, but no, it's going to go to the point where you blame minorities for not getting to the polls.
 
The banks are still doing the same shit that led to the subprime mortgage crisis in 2008, the housing bubble will pop and how will president Trump deal with the crisis. Will he be better than Bush? lol

Who, with the support of a Democratic House and Senate, passed a trillion-dollar slush fund for "shovel-ready jobs"? Which produced jack dick, by the way.

And that recession you refer to? Caused by the housing bubble, which was caused by Democrats forcing banks to make housing loans to people who had no ability to repay them because "everyone has a right to home ownership."

The Scotch? Are you aware that that's a pejorative? And I'm aware that Scotland voted to remain in the UK. It was the last time I set foot in the country.

But either way, we can go back and forth as much as you want, but Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to remain in the EU. That's fact. We did our part on behalf of the remain campaign and as a result, can hold our heads high.

Social security has been on track to go bankrupt for a long time without significant cutbacks, long before our generation reaches retirement (30 somethings and younger). This election wasn't going to fix that.

I'm not talking about a climate or abstract concepts - I'm talking directly to the Democrats who decided not to vote. I want them to really understand what they did. This is their responsibility. They are responsible for a vice president who signed a bill that would jail same-sex couples for applying for a marriage license. I have to bold this part because I feel like people still don't grasp the importance of this.

Your apathy is responsible for the coming suffering of millions of people who are part of minorities in your country. I just really want everyone of you (not talking to you directly, Fox) to own up to the fact that your principles are more important than the freedom of the LGBTQ community, among others.

EDIT: RIGHT. And I'm not even going to approach the effect this could have on the fucking planet with two climate change deniers being in power now. Good job, again.

The polls that everyone clinged to were skewed, and unreliable. Brexit showed this, the primaries showed this. Nate Silver has even himself admitted that polls are far less reliable than before. The media as whole has completely shat its pants this election on so many levels it is damn near hilarious.

The eye test showed how popular he really was. She drew the same crowd with Beyonce and Jay Z as he did on his own. Any metric, crowds or video views all pointed in the same direction - except the polls.

I wonder if there will ever be a "alt left" in 4 or 8 years, and what principles they would adopt.
