Do I believe some people are lost causes? Yes however not everyone is. I've seen it time and time again even on this forum how quick people are to jump on someone who is either uninformed or in the middle yet get lumped in completely with the other side. Thats someone who can potentially be taught and educated. Change doesn't happen over night. its a process. Sometimes it fails. Sometimes it doesn't but change is happening even if its isn't as fast as people want it to. Maybe you won't grow up in a tolerant free world but perhaps your kids or your kids kids will grow up in one thats a little less hateful.

Yeah, her performance has been really...lacklustre. Worst democratic candidate I've ever seen by a country mile, I'm sorry to say. Not sure if Sanders or somebody else would have done better, but I can only judge what we got and I wasn't impressed.

I find it unavoidable that ISIS didn't have a direct hand in the appeal of both Brexit and Trump. Terrorist aggressors singlehandedly made all grown-up liberal talk about immigration/foreign policy feel naive.

It's so disturbing... that this little upstart gang could form in 2014, cause a little terrorism in 2015, and affect worldwide referendums and elections in 2016.

To be fair, she must feel shaken to her core right now.

It's hard to imagine what more she could have done.

She had come off strange and robotic for most of her career, but she hit her stride when it mattered most, but the world changed. Her kind of politics is gone now, even if she finally mastered it at the end.

If I were her I wouldn't necessarily feel that I failed, but perhaps more that the game just changed. I feel a little less insulted by change, personally.
