There's no way I'm watching this stream but at the same time, I'm sitting here on pins and needles waiting for our review copy (yeah, I know the first wave has already gone out... we're never in Square's first waves, it seems!) and hoping we even get one, while also trying to track down one of these ultra-early retail copies and wondering if I should even cover it if I do get one.

What did you end up liking about it? Did you feel at all won over or still mostly skeptical?

Game looks really nice on PS4 Pro. My take away from the demo was I hope there's a lot more mobs/stuff to do out in the world. The demo felt really restricting in a way since they stripped out a bit.

Whether she's head over heels for XV or not (and there's plenty of room in the world for those who aren't) I think Kagari is a genuinely good mod.

Game looks really nice on PS4 Pro. My take away from the demo was I hope there's a lot more mobs/stuff to do out in the world. The demo felt really restricting in a way since they stripped out a bit.

The world did feel pretty empty I thought. I have a high tolerance for atmospheric wandering but I did think more mobs could be a good thing.

Re Pro, I thought my PS4 was dying about a week ago, and my finger was on the trigger for one, but it seems to be working again....

Going off from what I've been reading, there were a lot of sidequests turned off during the demo that seem to be there now and monsters appear much more frequently.
