Can someone explain this to me. I'm not very pokemon savvy these days. What do You guys mean by hidden ability. Don't all pokemon have abilities in general. How is intimidate hidden and how do you make it available?

The term hidden abilities is quite a misnomer. A more appropriate term would be secondary ability or a second ability. What hidden abilities refer to is another ability that the pokemon can have, although much rarer than the common ability or the primary ability.

In order to get this hidden ability, you have to use the safari zone (in XY), trade with someone else to get the hidden ability, or just get lucky while looking for pokemon (either through the use of dexnav or a similar tool).

I'm running with both in my initial run so I only need to do two full playthroughs between Sun and Moon to nab everything.
Doing two starters in a single go just makes sense. Rowlet will go solo for Run #2.

Popplio's gonna be solid no matter what because its typing is incredible and its got good stats.

The recent Buff to Dark types is really good for Incineoar but I'm not quite sure what it can do.

In game wise, it doesn't matter. The starter you choose won't have good stats anyways. You'll have to breed for a good one. Popplio will most likely be better. Great move and typing.

Each individual pokemon has just one ability. The 2-3 thing refers to the amount of abilities that is available to a given species, if that makes sense.

You have to fish at certain spots pre-determined, you can't just grab your pole and fish anywhere like in the old games.

The Festival Plaza and the PokéPelago are also terrible IMO, PSS from X/Y/ORAS was much better. The pelago reminds me of free to play mobile trash, the timers for some stuff sometimes are over 24-48 real time hours - although you can use berries to speed it up.

For some reason, Game Freak decided to give Pokémon a second/third ability that's normally a pain to get, which is especially annoying when you consider that most Pokémon's HA are the best ability to have, competitive or in the main game (A-Vulpix's Snow Warning, Protean Greninja, Speed Boost Blaziken, Sheer Force Nido___, etc.). Even Pokemon with not particularly good abilities to choose from like Rockruff's Steadfast (Better that than Keen Eye since the speed boost from Fake Out is useful), end up being locked behind, in Sun & Moon's case, arbitrary encounters that require the use of special items, and that's assuming you can figure out its ability to begin with unless you have the right moves to test out what said ability would be.

Also, some Pokémon's third ability is the same as their other two like Wimpod. Because.

Nice team. I ended up using Metagross, Arcanine, Gumshoos, Decidueye, Lycanroc and Wishiwashi (that got benched for Lunala). It was too late for me to change teams when I discovered where I could get pokémon that I actually wanted.

Metagross just Meteor Mash'd everything through its path though, jesus.

How is Wishiwashi and Decidueye? They look super reliable too.

I did the same last Gen for someone else. Midnight for me is just under 5 hours plus my drive back. I can get you the starters as soon as I can trade. Just let me know how you want to set it up. I'll evolve a Lycanroc Day for you as well.

How long from when you get your starter until you can trade with someone?

From the moment you can actually move in the game, it can take you anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to unlock trading. Obviously closer to the former when you're rushing. I think it took me around 35 minutes each (plus the stuff before actually playing like name and a cutscene) for my second and third starters.
