Where's Ten Carat Hill?
Directly west of Kukui's lab.
Damn, that's a bummer. I do love ice types, though, but maybe not for my fighter. It becomes part ice which mean it gains some new weaknesses. I'm not sure how it's stats change.
So team so far:
Golisopod
Salandit
Magneton
Charjabug
Dartrix
Toucannon

I'll keep her 'cause I love her too much. I called her Bayonetta. Evolving means just equipping Odette to pair with the Takemikazuchi.
Leech life is ridiculous
Where do you get more beans?
Alright. The cafes in the Pokemon centers (once per day)
Poke Pelago (keep checking in regularly)
I legit laughed at this. Would it happen to be that water spider? I fought it when I did my first and only Battle Royal. Araquanid, I think it was called? There's an actually giant legged mon for Bayo comparisons, later on.
I wasn't a big fan of the Pokemon-Amie and EV training thing in Pokemon X. Is there more of that this time?

Ah, okay.I think he's talking about Tsareena.

I find it helpful if I'm trying to find a certain gender other wise it's annoying. Does add a bit of difficulty to the game tho. This 'call for help' mechanic is rapidly becoming incredibly annoying lol

Haha, same thing happened to me with Oranguru. Kind of glad I caught it because I stuck around for 10 more or so fights and never encountered it again.Tried to catch Pichu, it called for help 4 times.

There's an Amie-esque mode but you can ignore it. It lets you cure status ailments without using items though so you might want to use it for that. Super training is gone.

Whoever set this Pichu encounter rate needs to be drug out into the street and whipped.
Valid.I'd be fine with it if Pikachu was more rare of a Pokemon, at least among lead characters. But thenso now we look like best friends or some shityour fucking rival gets one
Valid.
On the upside, found a female Alolan Meowth, so there's that.Never evolving her.
I found a Pichu by the grass that was close to the ferry in the first town, it was my first encounter... :lol
The best part is, I boxed that little fucker immediately. Why bother when Magnemite and the electric bug are so much better?

I actually like the mechanic, though. It gives a little more oomph to battles and you always feel relieved when you catch the Pokemon at the end after having to sit through 4 calls for help.
Where can I find a wild Rockruff?
It's a pain in the ass without a dedicated Pokemon catching team. I'm prepping a Skill Swap Sylveon to hunt for HA Rockruff, Cubone, and Fomantis but I'm still dreading it.
Rockruff in particular is unbelievably annoying to deal with in chains. It has the ability to raise its attack, lower your defense, and lower your accuracy. It then has Bite so you can't use your psychic types for Synchronised natures unless you're high level.
Fomantis at least responds to Leer differently (defense increase instead of decreasing).
Cute charm is personally what I use to find specific genders* but yeah it is funny how calling for help makes random encounters turn south in no time. I'm still cracking up over the person who got blacked out by a bunch of Caterpie. Outside of Twitch plays Pokemon you just don't hear that happening otherwise.I find it helpful if I'm trying to find a certain gender other wise it's annoying. Does add a bit of difficulty to the game tho.
