The hardest battle I've fought so far was the Ghost Trial I just beat.
Probably would've fared better if I started out with Decidueye, but sheesh, nearly lost my entire team. It's my favorite one so far though, and that was before the unexpected difficulty with the Totem Pokemon.
Glad I turned off the Exp. Share though, pretty much everything I come across is nearly my level.
Same, although for me I only disliked Dartrix. Just looked so ugly to me.
Mimikyuu hits so hard, and Haunter is such a jerk with Hypnosis...

I caught a couple..but idk maybe it's the fact that it's so late game. But I really don't have a desire to add it to my team.

It's so close to evolving into its final form that just a few rare candies and it's totally usable.
Finished Sun. The mainline is easily my favorite in the whole series. It's amazing what actual effort in story, characters, and presentation does for the game. It isn't perfect at all, but there just some nitpicks I have for it the story. Team Skull is easily the best evil team the series has had. It isn't even close. Difficulty was just right while on Set and turning off exp share for most of the game. When it got a bit too much I turned it on and got up until I no longer needed it.
I absolutely adore my team. Each member has had their shining moment of being a savior or MVP. So many great new ones. Only complaint is that I can't use a Gallade until Bank gets up.
Music was good. Slowdown in battles didn't bother me. I don't mind being guided or linearity if I'm enjoying what is happening and I was enjoying it extremely.
Also one minor spoiler for credits.

That picture of Hau and Lilllie that was taken at the start of the game made me a tad bit emotional. Didn't expect that at all.

And yea, it's 90 accuracy now. And on another note, screw waiting for Pikachu to learn Thunderbolt; I'm sick of how weak it is defensively. Discharge is good enough, I'll use a Heart Scale or something later on I guess.

Yeah. Someone in this thread said they wouldn't call for reinforcements if they were paralyzed turn one. Didn't work.

Fuckin "call for help" garbage is ridiculously frustrating when you're trying to catch them all.
Gen 7 mons are rare or uninteresting(struggling to make a full alola team).

Just finished 2nd trial on 2nd island, that fucking Hiker had me busting out laughing; so far these trials are way better than gym battles. Oh and my Pikachu did her relationship/friendship abilities again, this time the same "toughing it out so I won't feel sad" but she had 2 v 1 with Totem Pokemon and his ally to which came up with her "in a bit of a pinch and might start to cry." Felt so bad for her but won through in the end. I have to remember to take screenshots of these things but I keep forgetting because I press buttons too fast.

These are my favorite new Pokemon since GSC.
Stufful is so cute, new Muk is fucking sweet, the bandit thing and it's evolution is dope. And to top it off everyone is still making Meowth their little bitch.

Yeah, I'm not feeling Pokemon fatigue at all for this game.
The trials and general set up of the game so far has been worlds above the normal Pokemon formula.
I'll actually complete this one if it keeps this up which will be a nice change of pace.

Fuck YES, finally beat Elite 4 Olivia after who knows how many tries. No doubt that was most number of attempts on any fight yet for me. Was not prepared for rock types at all and my team was mostly physical so it was really fucking hard for me. I love it though, turning around nigh-impossible situations is the absolute best feeling.
