This would be so legitimately hilarious that I wouldn't even be mad.

I still don't think MvC 4 is happening anytime remotely soon, if ever. Even ignoring the total shitshow that SFV's launch/post-launch as been, I feel like we would have heard something about Capcom getting the Marvel license back as soon as it happened through some source.

You know, RE4 always mentally made me think of Leon as the face of the series. I'm genuinely shocked he's never been in a crossover fighter, come to think of it.

Chris I don't care about, yeah. But MVC3 Jill was lame compared to her MVC2 version so if she has to come back, please let it be the latter.

Regardless of how big Marvel has become, I think Sony has learned its lesson when it comes to Capcom fighters. They went all in with SFV and that game did not turn out the way they hoped it would (to say the LEAST). It's not impossible for them to make an investment on other Capcom titles in future mind you, but funding another fighter right after SFV's commercial failure is something that I just can't see happening*.

Also, they already have Spider-Man for that Marvel money.

Well, unless they have some sort of contract with Capcom for like "2 exclusive fighting games" or something along those lines as part of a deal for funding SFV.

I agreed. I think if they are going to make the game, I think Capcom is willing to fight for those original popular X-men and Fantastic Four to be in the game.

Storm, Magneto, Wolverine, Doctor Doom. I would be okay if Phoenix and Super Skrull are coming back too as well.
 
Anyone who thinks Marvel 4 is being announced now needs to get banned once this event happens. They are going to announce Shin Blanka or some stupid shit.
 
I'm curious, had TLG, FF7R and Shenmue been leaked before Sony's E3 2015 conference in a similar sort of style to this, what would of been GAF's reaction?

Except that every one was those was leaked in this hush-hush, circuitous way that no one believed at first. It wasn't until the Siliconera leak on FFVIIR and The Guardian report on TLG that people started to believe.gif, and the Yu Suzuki tweet was practically confirmation.

So the reaction is the same: alternating between gleeful optimism and harsh skepticism.

You joke but I honestly think that DMC has become quite niche in its absence in the past nine years. Like, there is no way that Sony would've put DMC5 in its last E3 presser even if Capcom had prepared an amazing trailer for it.

I didn't mean it as if it added credibility to my statement. I was saying I had a discussion with a friend and it led me to this possibility
 
I love MVSC games so much I already have the PS3 and Xbox 360 version sealed. and I have the vita version as well that I play with me.

I hope this is true lol

It's just another mismanaged Capcom series to me. How are you going to make the last entry in the DMC series be DmC? And leave it at that?

I haven't bought the game. I won't ever buy it. And I just pretend that DMC1,3 and 4 are all that exist.
 
Shakin my damn head you guys are just setting yourselves up for disappointment. Who is more gullible and willing to grasp at straws, Marvel players or Smash players. Wait for the Marvel trailer after Capcom Cup is over you heard it here first lol.
 
Keynote's at 1PM EST Saturday. I would expect SFV S2 info to get dropped in as part of that, since you'd want people showing off new characters and features and such on the show floor.

If Akuma's conspicuously missing, the jig'll be up.
