There is no mechanism for doing the election over. It would never happen.

Trump could go down for this. Pence would be safe, but there would be a tremendous amount of public animosity and a sense of illegitimacy if he becomes president. The Trump/Russia connections pre-date Pence getting added to the ticket, and by all accounts the Pence faction of the is different than the fringe hacks that have been circling around Trump.

I'm tempted to just skip this and go watch Rogue One now. If there's nothing big, I missed nothing, if it's something huge, it won't be on my mind the entire time while I watch the movie.

I think they're gonna try to do a retread of the Cold War arc, so you know they're running out of ideas. This has been going on too long, they should just end it.
