And done with the sales (hopefully). By the way, Valve, I think your layout is messed up. Total damage for 8 games: 22,37€

That glitch has been around for over a year now. Im convinced it has something to do with bundles or something.

So GOD Eater comes with 1 & 2 and is 516 NTD (16 bucks). I play MH on my 3DS, yay or nay?

I was going to buy astroneer if I bought nothing and its roughly the same price.

Sounds like it's not like MH from the poster that answered my question about the game. Easier gameplay + anime all over the place = yuck

Capcom need to just put MH on here so we don't need to play the imposters.

Well I mean not a complete MH clone. I don't find MH hard, I find it challenging but mainly fun.

I don't mind anime. Though I know nothing of it.

This Friday the 13th beta is making me think you absolutely need a group at all times if you want to enjoy it. Practically no one in quick match is talking and there's no option to always be the killer like in Dead by Daylight. Kind of a bummer.

How is Subnautica these days? It ran like complete shit when I played it. I had to refund it because of how poorly it ran. It was probably around 6 months ago or something like that.

I find most deals i have seen so far disappointing, but i am going to have a look at the hidden gems thread, just in case. I have a big backlog anyways , thats one of the good things when you always have some unfinished games to discover.

If you're one of the 3 people on steam who haven't played these games, stop what you're doing and play them.

hey, Steam bros (and girls!) - how bad will Steam Link be if I've got a wired Link and a wireless laptop? is it worth giving it a try for $20 or will it just be completely unplayable? I've seen all the warnings about wired connections but I'm not going to tether my laptop and I don't have a proper gaming PC. normally I just plug my laptop into HDMI but it'd be nice to have something a little more convenient than that. thanks!

How do I purchase it if I don't live in the EU?

You can enter all your regular info/proper address/etc. The only thing you have to list is an European country under country. I picked Sweden for the heck of it. The credit card never verifies country so you should be fine.

Both my steam link and computer are wireless, on different floors along with the router, and it works fine

Rusty Lake Hotel
- Imagine Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None or Clue: The Movie; the premise is that guests at a hotel are being killed one by one
- Also all the guests are animals dressed up in dapper outfits
- The gameplay is basically escape room style puzzles, which should be familiar to you if you played 999 or Zero Escape, or if you've done a live action escape room.
- Spoilers for first five minutes:
also you're the murderer

For $0.99 I recommend this definitely.

Runs on PC and Mac and should be notebook / bad hardware friendly.

The plot to Uncharted 4 is so paper-thin (early game spoilers)

The antagonist, a person who has been shown to be both incredibly rich and dedicated- somehow misses major clues to the treasure he's been searching for that have been right under his own nose. Years of combing through the property he suspects they're located (and with the help of a hired personal militia), yet he somehow misses a lavish gravestone with what suspiciously resembles a staircase behind it and a whole fucking level-sized cavern. Especially with access to modern technology. The dialogue tries to write it off as the property simply being too vast, but c'mon.

are there multiple games set in this universe? I know there is Rusty Lake Roots, but I think there are others that aren't on Steam? like flash games or something? haven't played any of them but people keep recommending them

Games like Civ and Endless Legend are 4x games.

Wikipedia said:
4X is a genre of strategy-based video and board games in which players control an empire and "eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate". The term was first coined by Alan Emrich in his September 1993 preview of Master of Orion for Computer Gaming World.[1] Since then, others have adopted the term to describe games of similar scope and design.

Yes the game has links to like 10 free games made by the same people. I haven't played any of them, this seems standalone.

Are they good? 35mm looks interesting, and Endless Legend looks like a Civ clone (which is fine in my book).

Endless Legend is really really good. Fantastic art style, cool lore, factions that all play differently. And the expansions are mostly good as well.

After that questionable Indie Gala tweet mentioned a few pages back, I'm not sure I'd be giving any money to them though.

How cheap can we expect Stardew Valley to get? $10 seems like a good price

Like in a cosmic sense? it'll be in a bundle some time before 2028. But if you mean is it likely to be much cheaper than $10 in the next few months? No, probably not. Maybe though. It's impossible to know for sure.

I mean, what did you expect? Is Uncharted.
And that game got the best narrative award the same year Steins;Gate 0 and Umineko got released...

They're all on mobile too, so you can play on iPad/iPhone for free

Trillion: God of Destruction is $8.99, down from $30.

More people should get this game, as long as they understand that it's not a JRPG; it's a time management/SRPG strategy game with heavy emphasis on VN-esque story and connecting with characters that you are training up to literally send to their death against the game's only boss who has a trillion life.

Maybe I'll do a longer write-up of it, but it was one of my biggest surprises when I played it and is an under-rated, under-bought and most definitely hidden gem.

I took a look but I'm not seeing any time-management elements. Care to elaborate on that?

I picked up God Eater on PC a while ago to attempt to scratch my MH itch.

They are very different games and feel totally different. I hated it after the first few hours but then out of nowhere it all clicked and I ended up really enjoying it, bad story aside.

A lot of customisation and stuff to dig around in.
