I don't remember the last show I liked on Facebook. Probably Lost or Breaking Bad during their initial runs. I'm very likely out of touch, though.

I think if it ends up being something that illuminates for the audience the existence of these people or groups, or if it's something that ends up mobilizing people against those groups, or if it's something that really probes at the underlying causes and cycles of racism and abuse, then that's a public service.

But it's A&E so it seems much more likely to me that it'll result in there being celebrity nazis. And yes they'll be infamous, like Duck Dynasty or Jon and Kate Plus 8 or Little People Big World or whatever but I think we could all do without voluntarily raising the profile of any of these odious people, least of all white supremacists.

I reserve judgement until after it launches but my very strong prior would be A&E not being equipped to tackle this subject in a competent or mature way. The Scientology show is pretty slapdash too -- watch Going Clear back to back with A&E's Leah Remini's Scientology Is Bad and you see a massive gap in professionalism and quality of presentation. Admittedly that's not the same fear as worrying it will be too sympathetic, but still doesn't really bode well.

i fucking hate literally everything about the CW's new edgy teen sex Archie show

I can get shirtless hunks on tumblr/google image search whenever I want. There's no need to spend 40 minutes each week on that shit.

Deadline - ‘Last Man Standing’s Syndication Success Shows Viability Of Star-Driven Sitcoms

While New Girl eschewed broadcast syndication for a SVOD/cable package and 2 Broke Girls debuted on local stations in fall 2015 as is the standard practice, Last Man Standing was held back for stronger time slots, bowing this fall as the only new off-network comedy in the marketplace. The strategy worked, with the Allen starrer exceeding expectations as its ratings have been growing steadily, hitting a series of highs.

While some shows are known to experience growth in their first months in syndication as new viewers discover them, such a steep upward trajectory is rare.

For the week of Dec.5, Last Man Standing was the No.4 among all 19 comedies airing in broadcast syndication, only behind blockbuster The Big Bang Theory (5.6), Modern Family (2.9) and stalwart Two and a Half Men (2.6) and ahead of Family Guy (1.9), Mike & Molly (1.9) and 2 Broke Girls (1.8), now in Year 2. It is the highest-rated new syndicated series — off-network (comedy, drama, reality) or first run — by a wide margin.

Seriously though, it looks alright for a CW show. Not getting the "hate everything" vibe from it. (though I will admit bias because damn Archie is hot)

I'm watching Psych because I'm bored and it really feels like a dated show in 2016. Not just the stories, but how it's shot and all the music choices. And it's barely a decade old. lol

Ratsky's smart. There are easier and more efficient ways to see attractive nude or semi-nude people than investing hours into a series. You can all do better.

Isn't that pretty much all the USA blue sky shows? Very old school.

Archie's not supposed to be hot he's supposed to look like a doof

Although I guess in this iteration there's now a legit reason that every single girl he meets (other than Ethel and Midge) goes gaga for him

I used to get my shirtless guy quota from Vampire Diaries,at least there Damon would randomly kill someone and it made me laugh everytime he did it. Then I stopped watching and now I have no shirtless guy quote.

I liked that show, no shame. Ill fight you Ratsky.

Arrow I guess? Im 2 seasons behind on that aswell, does the dude still do his salmon ladder workouts thing that made me feel like less of a man?

I made it 20 minutes into my free trial before cancelling.

Only Top Gear is worth slogging through Amazon's bullshit. But even then, I don't sub to Prime. When they put "the Grand Tour" on iTunes to let me buy, download, and convert to my preferred formats over Steaming, that's when I'll start to care about Amazon's output.

Stupid sexy CW stars!

*adds Riverdale subscription to DVR*

Quantico satisfies my shirtless guy needs...also Price is Right, whenever they have James on. However this CW show, please come to hulu.

Is Black sails a good show? I've been thinking of watching it... I like spartacus so would I like it?

Black Sails is amazing. S1 is a little slow, with maybe a bit too much island politics going on, but it sets the stage for seasons 2 & 3.

It's my #1 show right now. So hyped to see the final season, and yet so sad it's ending.

Toby Stephens and Luke Arnold put in some of the best performances on TV.

Highly recommended. And while I liked Spartacus, Black Sails is better imo.

Another new netflix show, some time travel shit? Yeah you guys might be on to something >_>

I'm down to finally start watching Workaholics and Black Sails as they go into their final seasons. That way I can do a continuous binge and be ready for the finale in real time.

The best thing about Riverdale is that Archie is boning his teacher :D

I think you already know that's not something you should be excited about.

Black Sails is one of my favorite shows. It went from Alright in S1 to Amazing in S2.

I'm sorry, but I just can't find it not absolutely hilarious considering how Ms Grundy looks like in comicbooks. Turning her hot, young and in forbidden affair with washboard-abs Archie is the most CW thing ever. :D

Do they actually go sailing in the other seasons or are they still stuck on that island? lol

Nassau is still the hub of the show, but things have branched off quite a bit. So the entire cast is almost never all there. They introduced a really unique locale and group in Season 3 that there is a lot of focus on.

Dirk Gently

Whut? :o

I dont...what?

This is my jam

Edit: loved episode 1, I love weird ass shit like this.
