It's a shame there is no way to do the opposite with that Witcher exchange. I'd like a DRM free version of Witcher 3 on GOG as well as my existing Steam version.

I kind of like not having flash sales. At least you know what you're in for from the beginning.
It will probably get added on gog connect eventually, all the other Witcher games have.

Went ahead and bought a few games after reading Rock Paper Shotgun top 50 strategy games: Endless Legend, Endless Space Gold, Prison Architect, and Crusader Kings 2. Hopefully these will fill me up for the next few months (along with Homeworld and Pillars of Eternity) as I'll have ample time to play all these.

From the moment dailies were gone, I've stopped caring for Steam Sales. Before, I checked every 12 hours every day to see if a game I wanted had a daily, because I new that an offer like that was very difficult to repeat.
Now I just check once my wishlist, buy nothing and stop caring.
Also, with dailies, it raised awareness of games; having 20 or 30 games, and everyone on Twitter or GAF was like "GET XXX NOW!!!", and you went and bought that game.

Are you kidding me? Flash and Daily were exactly the reason why Steam Sales were so special. It felt almost like Christmas everyday, not knowing what you'd get, what surprises were around the corner.
The price drops and discounts were also greater during the set period of time.
There were also the "pricebugs" or price errors that occured more than often every day when the list of games on the daily changed.
Steam Sales felt like E3, now they're just the regular sales that have been surpassed by other websites like GMG and Nuuvem.
