I think Valve can still launch an appeal against it up until Feb 20 but consumer protection law is pretty strong in Australia even with The Tories in charge trying to break everything down. I imagine at this point it would be throwing good money down the drain.

Haha, fortunately the article was incorrect on that: the main page is only to display a header in 14-point font reading "IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT CONSUMER RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA" (all caps, apparently), which links to the full notice.

Yeah, technically the case is still ongoing, but considering the uphill battle Valve's had and the likelihood of an appeal failing, I can only assume it'll cut its losses.

Yup, this is what I'm doing. DS3 is still capped at 50% off after all these months. It won't be long until it finally hit 66% or even 75% off. Early in 2017, I predict. Enough time to finish DS2 (installed but not have the time to play it yet) and Bloodborne (played the first few hours but had to drop it in favor of FFXV).

loved one choice was super random, i got quina even tho i had given tons of gifts to other characters i liked more like selene, mercedes and maximilian, but whatever. she follows you around after the cataclysm, and i think she got murdered by some random goblins on the way to gran soren lol

they really should make another dragon's dogma, this game is insanely good and attuned to my tastes

i think i played like 60 hours of it in the past two weeks, i absolutely love its blend of berserk aesthetic, its very rewarding exploration and combat systems and its japanese goofiness and weirdness and charm and shit

seriously few games have felt as made-for-me as this one in a while

Dailies and its ilk were axed a year ago now. Following last year's Winter Sale, Valve accidentally posted a recap publicly; it found the new approach to be more beneficial than the original format.
