Yes, that's that case. Also the coupons expire soon (Jan 4).Can I just get some final confirmation that this is the case?

Is there reason why it's so low-key this year with no dailies/flashes?
Years ago my friend and I predicted that eventually Valve would be taken over by some asshole(s) with an MBA and they would start to kill the fun of the Steam sales somehow. Lo and behold, Steam sales aren't what they used to be.
One of the "featured" sales on my page right now is CS:GO for $10, which is 33% off. Gee thanks Valve, your own years-old game is a few bucks off. What a crazy deal. On an old Steam Sale, that woulda been under $5.
Recommendations for local couch co-op games?
yeah and it seems like shit has dramatically changed all around so there's probably a lot of cool re-exploring aboutthe music for that fight is so cool though, you still got bitterblack isle to mess with too!

It wouldn't of been under 5 these sales even under the old system. Valve is trying to make it more costly for cheaters to acquire new copies.
Mgs5 phantom pain or ground zero? Cuz mgs 5 pp is over $20Can somebody explain me , why the hell metal gear V is cheaper than Revengeance , i mean yes the difference is not much , but still!!

i like how suddenly i'm pretty weak again, that's pretty fun since it was a long while since i had felt any challenge
not sure if i want to go to bitterblack just yet or after the area that just opened up
Because Revengance is a better game with more content. Can somebody explain me , why the hell metal gear V is cheaper than Revengeance , i mean yes the difference is not much , but still!!
It's not, you're probably thinking of the two hour prologue Ground Zeroes. Can somebody explain me , why the hell metal gear V is cheaper than Revengeance , i mean yes the difference is not much , but still!!
alrightyprobably would want to go through everfall first, since bitterblack is higher level
Personally, I'm more disappointed the Valve "mascot" animals/monsters aren't anywhere to be seen. It's a very serious sale, compared to previous ones. Though 2016 has been a shitty year, so maybe a serious sale to end an awful year makes sense.
Ok fine bad example, point is overall the sales used to be a lot better. I know to some extent that always wears off (first sale is always best because you buy up a back catalog of games on great deals) but I don't think it's just me, recent sales don't feel anywhere near as good.
Cyl, Sir Roderick Bodkin and Tappet are on borrowed time, I fear, due to Valve's increasing use of the ApSci cartoon people. They were even at Steam Dev Days.
honestly i prefer the lack of dailies, flash sales and whatnot
those things were sort of fun but not in the most healthy of ways and people were complaining about sales even before they removed flash sales and stuff
things like these steam awards are a good way to have some fun while letting people just take their time and think before they buy
that's healthy for everyone imo
alrighty
honestly i kind of wish the dark arisen stuff had added more kinds of enemies to the game
if there's one criticism i have about the game is that it's definitely repetitive and just adding some variety would go a long way (say two or three new common enemy types plus the same number of big boss guys). i'm thinking that maybe since i modded off spiders this is more noticeable for me, but idk
it's the one thing i would like a sequel to improve on, just lots more unique enemies and lots more bosses to climb to. the ones in the game are fantastic, i just want more of them
also probably improve the story but that's secondary, i'd rather the game was kept low budget, high ambitions
I would like and prefer the daily sales way more assuming Steam would do it right. Pretty much this only meaning mainly that #1 when Flash sales happen they're a fucking giant red flag somewhere that shows you like on the front of the featured store page/on the game page/ and on your wish list then it's super highlighted so you know it's flash, and for #2 that ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Flash Sales are repeated on encore days, no fucking excuses it was so dumb that encores wouldn't have half the flash sales for no concernable reason.honestly i prefer the lack of dailies, flash sales and whatnot

But really, I'm not sure what you're looking at, at Steam base prices MGS5 is like 25 bucks while Revengance is 7.50, probably better prices in other places.
Edit: Also yes, Ground Zeroes is just like the 2 hour prologue game/demo/scenario to MGS5.
It's not, you're probably thinking of the two hour prologue Ground Zeroes.
yeah it's as you say, the middle game just gets pretty samey and unbalanced.Yeah, Dragon's Dogmas middle game is a little repetitive/unbalanced.
Post-game is fucking amazing tho. And yes, it even has (a few) new enemies! (including probably my favorite enemy in the whole game, because it's just that damn awesome).
Btw, there should be some new quests outside as well, at least 1 of them leading to an awesome boss-fight, with an enemy that should have appeared more often during the campaign![]()
idk i prefer it this way, cos i don't have to be constantly checking steam or maybe missing a sale because i'm at work/forgot or whateverI would like and prefer the daily sales way more assuming Steam would do it right. That way EVERYONE knows when their thing is on sale, and even if they didn't and they were busy and only had one day to buy everything, they know they could just cast encore days, while event people still get to enjoy the surprises as they happen.
idk about performance, it's not a super demanding game but idk if that'll run it, it's a fairly recent game after allFlirting with buying Invisible Inc., and Dragon's Dogma. For any low-end PC gamers on here, would it be feasible to play DD with a Intel 5500 on low setting with decent framerate? Also, I wouldn't have internet when I played it, so would this hamper my capability?
alrighty

and i think i read there are some developer pawns in case you don't have an internet connection? honestly the internet stuff is fairly minor (another thing that would be nice to see improved in a sequel), it's mostly just enjoying playing with your friends' pawns but that's about it
i don't think scaling or a bigger map would be much of a solutionyeah, it's one of the criticisms for the main game, there are more mobs in the expansion, it doesn't fix the problem but it's something people like because it gave people more content to mess with, but the enemies available in the main game was lacking, I think it's because the main campaign is just flawed to begin with, especially for an rpg, it's easy to tell where it went wrong too:
The map size isn't really that big and you're made to backtrack and travel through it multiple times, the enemies don't scale and the spawns aren't random so naturally you will out level them, and the highest level mobs are in their mid 30s so at that point of the game the challenge is gone, you can tell that the main quests/most interesting sidequests try to lead you through certain areas in order too, it feels like they just wanted to stretch the game because it would've been several hours shorter and feels more linear if they didn't.
I do like how much details they put into the enemies available though, things like... the griffin can barely fly if you're heavy and climb onto it... and how enemies react to different spells and abilities, AIs also remind me of the dmc games where they just get more aggressive the closer they're to their deaths, it's just that the leveling just kind of undermined those efforts.
The cutscenes on YouTube are free.Mafia 3 still too expensive :/
Steam card trading okay here?
I need/want:
There's Something In My Eye
Have to trade:
Whoooaaaaaaa, dude!
yeah it's as you say, the middle game just gets pretty samey and unbalanced.
it's weird cos i most definitely think there's a bunch of areas i've never visited (cos they're blocked off) that i would like to see, but no luck. i think there's a tainted mansion or something like that that sounded cool and some other cave leading to whatever lol
and yea i'm going through those quests atm
btw the dead cockatrice part in the main game is one of my favorite parts. just stumbling upon it and then it being relevant in the story was such a cool moment
this game is awesome
just awesome
i don't think scaling or a bigger map would be much of a solution
i feel like the size is really close to reaching the limits of what's acceptable for backtracking (tho the crystals and ferrystones make it fairly easy to fast travel your way around), and the game does feel sprawling and intimidating at first even tho at the end it somehow feels kind of tiny
like i prefer a smaller map that i can grow used to than a bigger map that'll make fast travel mandatory
i mostly think they should just spice it up, not much else
besides expanding enemy variety, they could add travelers and adventurers and caravans going around and make them interact with the monsters and bandits. they could do other randomized quests besides the ambushes and the prisoners. they could add different weather and have different enemies when it's raining and have it make ur thunder magic do more dmg while turning off your lantern. they could make it so that quests have effects on the ecosystem so that killing one monster makes another species reproduce more rapidly for a while. etc.
making the game bigger could be interesting if they add things like horses, camping and whatnot, but i personally prefer smaller games
so, boring and without any personality? The layout of the Humble Store has been updated and is now very Steam-like.

Was playing CrossCode and was wondering why the game moved so smooth. Almost like silk. I was thinking this was the best feeling 60fps game ever. I turned on my FPS overlay and it turned out the game was running at 144hz.
I think this is the first 2d sprite based game where the frame rate was above 60. Man its amazing how framerate can make a game look and feel so smooth.
Aside from that the game deserve especially every bit of praise it recieves. It's probably the best top down action RPG on STEAM and it's not even done yet. I feel like it's even better than any of the Y's games. The only bad thing about the game is that it's not finished. The game deserves Stardew Valley level of sales once it's released.
Buy it

Why does Steam suddenly create a desktop shortcut for every game I install? Started a few days ago
How can you deal with your backlog? I've still to finish (even to start...) lot of games and I already want to buy tons of new ones...![]()
Sorry I'm still new to the Steam sales but just to make sure: if there is no timer on the sale price, that means that the sale will end when the entire winter sale ends? I read OP's post about it as well.
I went through all my Steam games and added all those I never played but wanted to try to a new "Playlist" category. I frequently go through that list and see if there's something I feel like trying, and as it turns out, many of the games I want to play for reference/completeness/curiosity I don't actually have the interest/energy to get into. At least this helps me discard a few of those games I would never actually get around to. It also made me realize that the older I get, the more I enjoy games and mechanics I already know...How can you deal with your backlog?
