Mechanically, both games are very similar, since Resurrection is a remastered version of the first game with a lot of gameplay mechanics borrowed from 2.

Not a biggy and even if I don't make $30 by the next sale, I was fine with my purchases this sale.
Buy all crap bundles to increase your library and idle all those games to get cards.

I think great is over doing it but it was good at least.
I think the atmosphere was ruined by the casual, almost comedic toned voice acting. The story and scenes would have worked much better if the tone was a lot more serious.
I didn't think it even had twists, let alone being clever. Maybe I've played too many games and watched too many movies to be surprised by it.
There was less gameplay than a Telltale game as well, so there is that.

The biggest problem is at the moment is the server infrastructure, which appears to be held together by spit and chewing gum. For example, Capcom recently introduced an expanded rage-quit punishment system, and then had to take the server down to fix the server and reset the RQ system, since the servers kept dropping connections and everyone got marked as rage quitters. It then worked fine for a couple of days, but now appears to have broken down again, somehow, as the icons that were added to allow you to identify rage quitters and good sports no longer show up for the vast majority of people. Additionally, every time Capcom needs to change something, this is associated with many hours of downtime (on top of by-weekly 8 hours downtime).
On top of that, there the net-code is a bit buggy, and apparently lacks the ability to re-synchronize two clients that have gotten out of time, occasionally resulting in one client being behind (and getting all the roll back), and one client being ahead (and having a seemingly perfect match). See here for somebody who captured both sides of this happening, and here for an explanation of the issue by Mike Z of SkullGirls / Indivisible fame.
Moreover, the lobby system is kind of busted, at least when you are attempting to browse lobbies: You cannot filter by region or country, on top of country flags not being shown consistently (despite being stored server-side?), and the connection quality bars do show anything most of the time. As a consequence, finding a lobby is a total crapshot. You often end up joining lobbies with people across the globe, simply because you cant see their country or connection quality in advance.
While probably more of a quality-of-life issue, I'll also mention that loading times are much longer than in USFIV, and the game wastes more of your time with point(less) screens. However, that has been mitigated a bit by the addition of best to two sets forranked / casual matches, so you typically play at least to sets of 2 - 3 rounds, before you have to sit through loading and match-making again.
There are many other issues, but these are the major technical issues I am aware of.

It makes me sad Duskers gets overlooked so much. I totally understand it isn't for everyone, but that game has some fucking atmosphere.

I played Pride of Nations extensively but never finished a game because of the horrendous turn times later on (5 minutes and up)

Speaking of the market place, I don't want to own a smart phone so I've been using Andyroid for the app but Andy bugged out last week and I had to reinstall it and redo Steam Guard and all that so now I'm unable to use the market place until the January 6th. -.-
Too late, but, I'd recommend using Winauth or Steam Desktop Authenticator over Android emulation, less change of errors like this.

Fuck it I bought Owlboy. Not a very good discount but it's brand new and obviously a labor of love. Seems like it will be worth 20 bucks, especially when the alternative is to buy two or three cheaper games instead that I probably won't even play....

Certainly. The expansions add some cool mechanics and more content, like extra campaigns, but the base game still gives you a lot to do.

Yeah scary stuff indeed, I've more or less started to take it for granted that any website is sooner or later going to be hacked so I've become "ok" with my email being out there for anyone. Just have to make sure to change password on a regular basis, not like I do now, every half decade or something haha.

That looks cool. Only thing that annoyed me about it so far is the same as many of these action slasher games, where hit boxes for some things are imo stupid. In the demo, the very early boss gear thing, clearly shouldn't hurt you when it attacks at a horizontal angles near the ground, where your character is shorter than the gear - yet you get hit anyway because.... reasons.
Not everyone can have good taste. It's a limited resource.
