How has Arrow/Legends of tomorrow been this season? About to start catching up on them.

Arrow is having it's best season since season 2 and worth watching again.

Legends of Tomorrow is maybe a little bit better then last year. I feel like it's pretty similar to last year, maybe a little bit better. It's not the greatest show ever but it's simple superhero team up fun.

To be fair, that's this thread too. lol

I was about to say that, but in the opposite way. Peeps here shit on things just as easy as fanboys praise them. A bunch of anti-fanboys you could say.

of course Bus shits on everything, not just shows, so...you know :3

Legends of Tomorrow has been fun but Arrow is shit. Agents of Shield have been a lot of fun with Ghost Rider but I'm not as optimistic when it comes to the upcoming LMD plot. I hope the show will run all the way till the end of Phase 3.

Nice return for This is Us.

Surprised to see SHIELD might live on, thought this was the end for certain. I haven't watched this season as last year left on a sour note

Did you watch it last night, shit was great? The show's pacing is the best

Empire renewed for S4. The Mick received an order for four additional episodes.

Fox's Spring premiere dates:

Thanks CB!

8:00-9:00 PM SHOTS FIRED (Series Premiere)

Hoping for good things from this one.

Did not care for the Making History trailer but I do really like Adam Pally.

It still might be killed. I never trust network spin until we get word of an actual renewal. It's not like they're going to say "It's floundering and we'll probably cancel it, but keep watching!"

I can't see why ABC would want to renew something that is averaging a 0.8 this season unless Disney really puts their thumb on the scale.

??? Why is are FOX shows returning so late?!?
Fox has shows sharing time slots. They'll have new stuff on almost every week. 24 in for Gotham and so on.

I forgot Prison Break was coming back. Whyyyyyy.

Well, everything is terrible so it's okay! lol

I dunno man, I'm pretty happy it's coming back. I loved the show.

I mean I stopped watching after they broke out as well, but I thought it was funny that even in Japan, someone used it as a punchline.

I heard it just turned into a pure conspiracy thriller after that, so I guess if that's what people want, why not.

Indeed! It just seems weird that they're going to try and pump this IMAX quality thing out in ~6 months...

Seriously. I don't have much interest in the project itself, but I might have to watch out of morbid curiosity. They sure are putting a big spotlight on a project that has all the hallmarks of being rushed.

Why so much love from NBC for Obama, but poor Fox News Viewers.

But wow at that NCIS...unless thats just rollerover from people who had Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy on over dinner.

Usually NBC has the most viewers when it comes to anything political on TV. No reason for it really. See: last year.

And NCIS is CBS's biggest show. They get double that when they have new episodes.

Does anyone here watch Superstore? Binged it over the holidays and it's actually really funny with a great cast, like no weak links at all. Hope it continues.

Superstore started as a virtually unpromoted summer series and got immediately promoted to a regular schedule series and then got their post-Olympics spot. It is doing well and NBC believes in it.

I'm two episodes behind. Really, really like this one, it's a damn good show that isn't mean spirited and has a good deal of heart behind it. And the cast is great, you're right on that. I will admit, the in-store gags are still my favorite part, but it is very well written. I'm glad NBC ended up growing confident in it.

What episode is that from?
Season 11, Episode 15 "Missionary: Impossible"
Community took shots at British episode counts too, and I know there's at least one other show that did it almost verbatim for The Good Place's joke. It's a pretty common thing to poke fun at.
Yup. It was just that I got that quote on the tip of my tongue (only with British instead of English), it annoyed me greatly so I was slightly desperate to find the exact one.

It's okay. I'm disappointed that the cliffhanger basically went nowhere. It reminded me of a Star Trek Voyager cliffhanger where everything is reset by the end of the episode.

Yikes at Frequency! That's really bad.

Also, I expected better numbers for black-ish considering how much the episode is making news this morning. Average ratings are still good I guess.

‘American Horror Story’ Renewed For Seasons 8 & 9 By FX
Two months after American Horror Story was renewed for a seventh cycle, to air later this year, FX has picked up two more installments, adding an 8th and 9th season of the horror anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

“American Horror Story launched the modern limited series revolution and – as evidenced by the most recent installment ‘Roanoke’ – it remains as vital today as when Murder House stunned audiences six years ago,” said FX Networks CEO John Landgraf. “Each new chapter is a cultural event, beloved for every new twist in imagery, style, cast and plot.”

On the bright side, Frequency was always intended to be a limited series.

Spin but at least it means there will be closure even if there's still openings left for another season.

Why are they even bothering with SHIELD with how shit the ratings are, they aren't improving, and seriously it serves no bonus to the MCU either.

It's probably profitable/popular enough over seas. Also it seems people are still watching it just not live so maybe its C+3 ratings are good. *shrug*

In FX scheduling is weird news:

‘Atlanta’ Season 2 Delayed Until 2018
It will be a long wait for Atlanta fans to see Donald Glover’s followup to the breakout first season of his FX comedy series. The network announced at TCA this morning that the acclaimed comedy will not air in 2017, with Season 2 slated for 2018 due to Glover’s production schedule.

‘American Crime Story: Katrina’ Moves To 2018
At FX’s TCA winter session, CEO John Landgraf announced that Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story: Katrina has moved to 2018.

In regards to the American Crime Story Versace edition, it will air within six months after Katrina. But Katrina will air first, even though Versace will go into production first.

As far as the delay, Landgraf attributed it to “material”, something that The People v. O.J. had with its source material being the Jeffrey Toobin book The Run of His Life. Also, in New Orleans when it comes to productions, they have to contend with hurricanes and prod companies can only get insurance at certain times of the year.

Han Solo wrecks Atlanta! It'll be worth the wait, I'm sure. Nine seasons of American Horror Story, that's wild. It also makes it the longest running FX drama.

FX continues to be my favorite cable network, they are almost always consistent with their good work. And with Legion next month and Feud in March, they're not slowing down. Long live Landgraf!
