Switch up on Amazon.de - 329,99€

preordered both versions.

have to ask my girlfriend which one she prefers later, than I will cancel the other again

For anyone who has a gamestop nearby, they are running a promotion today and tomorrow where you get double value for your trade in games, if you pre order a switch at the store

Dang yeah definitely waiting for a second revision(assuming it happens) with hopefully better battery life that's going to happen after ~1.5 years.

Preordered it to be safe, but if it stays at 329€ I might cancel it considering Mario Kart 8 doesn't seem to have new tracks and I can play Breath Of The Wild just fine on my WiiU.

Before the presentation I was so sure I would get one at launch but with the lineup in the coming few months 299€ is the highest I would probably pay for it. And I'm a big Ninty fan and normally a sucker for shiny new gaming hardware at launch despite all the disadvantages you usually have as an early adopter.

It is listed for preorder at 330€ in Amazon Spain too.

That's 50€ more expensive than in US.

And with no region lock, it may be cheaper to import.

Any german here knows if Gamestop germany does in store pickup on launch day guarenteed? I dont know if I should the gamestop offer with double trade in value or pre order at amazon to get it on launch day...

Holy shit wonder how absurb the Price Will be in scandinavia.

Sticking with ps4 + PSV remote play (Bought a ps4 for 197 Euro during BF and PSV for 99 Euro)

The Euro could be dead or worth half at any moment. There are serious, substantial and threatening problems in the European economy, lead by stability issues in Italy and Greece that could be only solved by leaving the Euro which will bring the currency to implode.

So the official price for the Switch in Europe is really 329,99€? Are we sure about this yet?

Well Amazon.de has never put up any placeholder prices if my memory serves me right. Usually they just create the product page but lock orders until they added the correct price.

Have you TRIED remote play? It works great as long as you have a good connection.

Which is a pretty big limitation for portability. I do use it (and love it) when I work away from home. But the only locations I can use it are hotels with decent WiFi, which are pretty rare. On public transport it's never going to happen.

So yes, it's more expensive than a PS4 as well as weaker, but I think people need to look at this device as a 3DS successor as much as a Wii U successor, which is where it becomes attractive.

They can go where the sun never shines with that price.
Was Day 1 before the presentation today, will buy when it reaches 249€ (as I did with the WiiU)

indeed. I also have a very bad feeling when I switch the remote thing off, if the PS4 thing is actually going to switch off at home as well. it already happened a few times that the PS4 just did not turn off (and I was just at home in my bedroom). I would never do it if I am away from home.
That pricepoint is nuts. By the time it's out you can likely get a PS4 Pro at a similar cost.

i saw two PS4s for 400 Euros in germany sooo

Just saw this here on twitter:

Ridiculous!

Nope nope noooooope.

Now I'm a that awkward point where I really want to play Zelda, but I know that paying 330€ would be an incredibly stupid thing to do.

Grundgütiger!
Pre-ordered for the moment. I'm going to review the situation close to launch and will probably cancel, if the situation is still looking so dire

Ridiculous!

france went down to 329.99 now

which is still too much, i don't give two shits about the amount it makes in $ tax without taxes, it didn't matter when it should have advantaged us, so it doesn't matter now

Pre-ordered the neon version.

Nintendo should have gone with 199€/199$/179£ to cover impulse buyers. 400€ was my switch budget and now I can only buy the switch and Zelda.
If it weren't for Zelda I wouldn't have preordered.

Nintendo fucked up again.
