Hell is Us coming to Switch 2 on Sept 24th

Kinda funny.... but i skipped this game on PS5 even though i considered it for a while. And while I would probably find this cool to play on the go ill probably skip it again cause then ill compare it to the price on the PS5 when it comes out

Cool, I thought this looked decent but didn't bother cause I don't play much on PS5 anymore. I might grab it if the port is good / depending on what else comes out around then.

Damn, so has the Direct been canceled this first half or what?

They litterally could've held a single direct this or last week that would've been genuinely impressive.

I was This close to picking it up on sale for PS5 but remembered about the rumored Switch 2 edition so held off. Glad I listened to my gut.

I absolutely loved this game, absolutely dripping with atmosphere and one of the few games I've went on to buy the soundtrack for.

Only thing that lets it down is the combat is fairly simple.

Ah makes sense i skibidi skipped it.
As a true PRO gamer i only play my games in the most difficult way possible and from soft is the only true hardcore anti newbie gamedev.

Still want to play this someday.
But I saw several comments about both the combat and story being a bit meh, which lowered my excitement.

Yeah just to set proper expectations: it's "souls-like" in the sense that there's a semi-open world divided into zones that you explore while fighting monsters using third person melee.

But there's no souls/blood echoes/runes, there's no stat leveling and no "lose XP upon death" mechanic. The combat is less difficult and there are basically no epic boss battles.

However, this game is quite brutal in its own way: Hell is Us has zero handholding. ZERO. There is no real map, there are no UI indicators, no pointers, no GPS lines, no minimap. You have to figure stuff out on your own and remember pretty much everything anyone says to you. The game has characters, documents, photos and stuff that guide you along, but you have to piece things together yourself.

This is a very cool and unique approach, but I can tell from personal experience that if you stop playing for a month or two and jump back in, it is absolutely crazy how you're supposed to pick things back up without any pointers.
