Hey you might have to if dementia is genetic, because I had to watch my grandmother suffer from it and at my grandfather's funeral (her husband) watch as she tells everybody it's her birthday. It's so sad. I hope when I die it's sudden, and not some long drawn out affair where I slowly lose all my faculties and wait for death.

My grandmother developed it. Or maybe it's early onset Alzheimer's; we're not sure.
When she's lucid, she's effectively stuck in a time warp where she thinks it's the mid-90s. When she's not, which happens to be most of the time, she doesn't remember who I am.
I feel terrible recognizing that she's mentally gone but physically trapped in a surprisingly healthy body.

Does anyone else think the Nintendo Switch is kinda bunk now that it has had it's proper showcase?
Everything I have read about it just sounds so... blah. I was thinking of actually getting one until last night. 'Tis a shame.

I'm partially hyped. They still have time to fix some idiocies, like the "you can rent one NES game per month." I'm not bothered by the $299 price point, and the 2017 lineup is actually really solid.
Honestly, if it'd been $299 with 1-2-Switch as a pack-in + one year free of the (maybe?) PS+ equivalent ... we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I love the concept of the system but the presentation ruined a lot of things. The battery life and how it takes about 3 hours to charge fully, the online system and the free game being limited play for a month only kinda suck plus the chat being smart device oriented seems uncomfortable. No talk about Gamecube Virtual Console and a lot of ports. The original games there were a few nice ones but Im not really sold on the system at the moment and the 2017 games are not enough to warrant the purchase.

If that bundle were to exist, that would honestly be great, but as Vazra has mentioned, the battery life, online system, and the chat system are just weird features that still turn me off (at least for now).
Yeah, the concept is great and is what got me excited for the console, but the execution of it all is just really poor in my opinion. So many weird design decisions. I may check back in during the 2017 holiday, but for now, it's looking like I won't be getting the Switch.
I guess I'll just emulate my Gamecube games just fine on my PC TBH. I may pick the Switch in 2018 or 2019 when it has a price drops and more things to pick up.

Yeah, emulation is a decent way to go. I've been wanting to try Super Mario Sunshine on PC for a while. Favorite GC game by far!

The girl in the pics was my long term girlfriend during my 20's, was with her for 4 years and on and off 2 years afterwards. She's the one I told ya'll about that broke my heart, got married to somebody else, had 3 kids, got fat, got divorced and has been hitting me up trying to get some of this D, but I have no interest because I'm just not sexually attracted to her anymore. But my boys say I should just do it off general principle.

Back then I had the looks but no experience and latched onto a toxic relationship throughout high school and most of college.
Now I have experience but less of the looks lmao. Goal is to get back there since I got stupid lazy about myself during the last couple years of college until now.

Yeah, I always had game and an outgoing personality, I just didn't have the right presentation to pull it off, until I basically made over myself during my sophomore year in college and it's been on and poppin' ever since.
