Wow, I didn't know about that. I'm very happy that Gotham is likely to be renewed. I would love another season, and even a Season 5. I love the madness it plays around with.

so I'm going with "Snap. Crackle. Pop." when Crackle shuts down, just for anyone wondering.
Come on it's going to be fine, it even got an Emmy nom for Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee

‘Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’ Moves To Netflix As Part Of Big Jerry Seinfeld Deal That Includes Specials & Series
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is on the move. Jerry Seinfeld has made Netflix the new home of his Emmy-nominated series. The massive exclusive Netflix comedy deal, which starts this year, also includes two new Seinfeld stand-up specials as well as the development of scripted and non-scripted comedy programming for the Internet network. The first special will be released this year.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee launched on Sony’s Crackle in 2012 and just premiered its ninth season, which will be the last on the free, ad-supported streaming service. The next 24-episode season of Comedians in Cars will launch on Netflix in late 2017, when the library of all existing episodes of the talk show also will migrate from Crackle to Netflix.
oh.

oh.

I'm real interested in where it'll end up in Canada. CraveTV ate up the rights here, but now that it's on the move to Netflix, I wonder if it'll just be the new episodes showing up there or if Netflix will just wait out the clock on the rights.

new series low for AoS?

Such a shame, they really need to tie this to the movies but maybe Marvel Movies hates Marvel TV and wants it to die off. AoS is also a weird show as it does not have a real star of the show.
The ensemble cast is great but no one really stands out and that hurts the show I think.

It is Coulson but because the movies won't acknowledge him anymore he might as well still be dead to any potential audience.

Marvel should just pull Coulson and resurrect him in the movies somehow and then cut the rest of them loose.

Yeah, so long as Crackle is still the exclusive home to the live action Dead Rising franchise, they'll be fine.

Heh.

I wonder how happy the new Chinese owners of Legendary are about making those?

Why? Evidently no one wants to see him on TV, why would they pay to see him in a Marvel film?

No Renewal.

I'll forever be indebted to Crackle for introducing me to the Tremors movies. They had 1-4 for free a while ago. Then I bought the DVD collection.

I guess people still tune in to NCIS, I will admit I haven't watched any episodes of the new season.

the Dinozzo hole is too big.

What I don't get about AoS, I feel like based off reactions here that it's been a really solid season, and thought most of the fat would have been trimmed off the audience... did people ditch because no more Ghost Rider?

I got kinda bored with the lengthy focus on Ghost Rider, but I did stick with it through that. Oddly, it's partly the comments that the show could continue past this season that got me to drop it (and Flash and Blacklist) last week. I've been watching all of the above since the beginning and I just felt like, ok, this story's finally ending, I'll stick with it till the end at this point. But then the thought that somehow it could be continuing made me re-evaluate that idea, even if it is still likely to be canceled. I watched last week's ep and found it to be a good, solidly done episode. I realized I just don't care about the characters and happenings, though, and then if I'm usually thinking Flash and Blacklist are worse than SHIELD, I may as well drop those, too.

So, more time for Japanese dramas.

I would argue that Quake has become the lead on Agents of Shield for quite a while.

I hope it gets renewed as it is the best show on television to me, and Inhumans is my most anticipated.

Ouch at those AoS numbers. I think I only ever watched the first episode, but my 19 year old was watching it. I believe this is the one he told me I could stop DVR'ing, that he would just catch it on Netflix.

I forgot This Is Us was on last night. I guess I know what I'm watching tonight with the missus.

Was that No Tomorrow's finale? I think I'm 2 weeks behind. Hard to imagine how only 604K people watching it wouldn't result in a 0.1. How low can you go before you drop under 0.2?

AT&T's deal with Nielsen promises more accurate TV ratings

Mere months after a deal with Dish, Nielsen has forged a multi-year agreement with AT&T to use set-top box data (thankfully, anonymized) to help determine ratings. Info from DirecTV and U-Verse subscribers will supply Nielsen with large-scale viewing patterns on top of its existing samples, providing a clearer picture of the American TV landscape.

It'll be interesting to see how this affects future ratings.

Lol, I hope no one still believes those platitudes about how Agents of SHIELD will get a season 5.

It'll be interesting to see if ABC schedules other stuff in its slot during February sweeps like they did during most of November sweeps.

What a catastrophe. There is no way a Marvel show on one of the big four should be doing that bad. And we aren't even to the daylight savings time spring drops yet.

None of the big four are running a really successful superhero show. Maybe the audience for them is not on live television.

Maybe not, but still a 0.6? The potential audience has to be higher than that. The CW superhero shows meet or exceed that number almost every single week.

I mean, I barely believe it. Just the thought of more SHIELD was a catalyst for further thinking about whether I cared about the show, is all.

Esquire. Home to such hit show as .

Also;
Esquire? - I hardly know her!

Oh and ‘This Is Us' Renewed For Second & Third Seasons By NBC because it's the only thing on that Network which isn't tanking
NBC has ordered two minimum 18-episode seasons of its Tuesday night drama sensation This Is Us.

"We all got our wish that this is a hit show," said Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment.

Major Crimes renewed for season 6.

Star Trek Discovery delayed again (Feb -> May -> ???)

Also,

Will and Grace revival official confirmed!

All four of the series' Emmy-winning stars — Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally — will reprise their signature roles as Will, Grace, Jack and Karen, with series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan on board as showrunners and exec producers. Additionally, TV legend James Burrows, who directed every episode of the sitcom during its initial eight-year run, will helm all 10 episodes.

Two new seasons of This Is Us, wow. They are super confident in that show, and I don't blame them. Best show of the fall, and one great cast.

If AoS gets cancelled, then they better add another Marvel show. I cannot go on without my Marvel fix every week.

We get two Netflix Marvel seasons a year. So that's 26 episodes of content. Stretch that out properly and you might survive hehe

Cloak & Dagger is coming to Freeform next year, supposedly. It probably won't be worth watching but I'm sure the cast will be hot.

I wish I ran PR for a network.

"Listen, we stumbled onto a show you piles of shit will actually watch so of course we're going to ride this horse until it collapses from exhaustion. Then we're gonna drag the horse for a few miles and at the first sign of life, we're going to shoot it right in front of your ugly faces."
