Cheap Arse Gaffer |Europe| With Or Without EU

Copy pasted from other thread - obviously BIGTHANKS will work on anything, but this is awesome for switch games!

Okay, HERE we go:

Using Amazon's BIGTHANKS (£10 off over £50 until end of Jan 20) you can get Zelda + MK8 for £80.98 w/ Prime. £40.49 each! :D

Add them both to basket, use BIGTHANKS :)

Pre-ordered 12 Switch, Arms and Mario Kart.

As it stands right now that would be 47€ per game, which is better than 60€ per game. That's how much those three games cost on Amazon DE.

Ordered Zelda through BIGTHANKS. With shipping to my country it ended up being £45.81, which is still way cheaper than any other alternative I have seen locally. Downside is I'll have to wait a few days for it to arrive. Maybe I'll change my mind later, but for now I'm happy with this.

Any good deals for Odin Sphere for PS4?

just so you don't think people are ignoring you on purpose,

I had been waiting for like 3 months for any kind of price reduction for this game and it never ever happened, it just won't budge, it will stay firmly in the price range you get when you look for it.

I asked your question back then and someone mentioned it once got a temporary minor discount digitally but since I am all-retail that didn't help.

I was kind of pissed and instead of paying for the barebones game I decided I'd go all balls out and bought the special edition which includes nice trinkets like a shirt and an artbook.

in the german ebay this is the cheapest you're gonna get it for:

Odin Sphere , new sealed 46 euros

I am playing through it right now, just started 3 days ago and it's nice, I get a strong mana vibe from it, it's like mana but from atlus and with its own twist.

price went a few times down as low as 30€, but some people dont like the huge USK stocker on the german cover. otherwise, this game was printed in a super low numbers, so chances of getting this game cheap is rare.
i missed the sale at gamestop for the vita version(10€)

Would have ordered Zelda too (70€ in Germany holy cow) but it's the game I'm buying this machine at launch for. I want to pick up my Switch with Zelda and be good to go.

Yeah, buyng Zelda day one here in Italy would cost me 65€ right now, with Amazon UK and that code would cost 44£ which would be about 52€, so the question is, is it worth having to wait about 5 days from when i get the cosole to save about 15€? Also cause without Zelda i'd have nothing to play on Switch...guess i'll pass

Yeah, same here. So I just re-ordered Mario Kart and Arms with this code (Splatoon is sold out on .co.uk).

Now it won't let me cancel the original order. Think I'm going to have to contact their support.

Not sure if add-on items will count, but if they do then 42p is the cheapest I can find: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000NM4OHK/

Might as well find something cheap that you slightly want, though.

It did count, cancel and reordered Zelda with that one!

Thanks =D

I read that as you have had preorder 12 consoles for yourself.. and dude, that would be so """wrong""" xD.

TGC Yakuza 0 orders shipping. YEAHHHHHHHHHH

I'm so tempted, but from now on, I'll wait a month before purchase new games (cos price drops), unless I can't resist, like Persona, or a console launch =p

Cross posting but if you speak to a rep, you can get the discount applied to an existing pre-order:

Every little helps.

Use mediaworld mate, bring an used game you dont need anymore and pay 30€

Bit risky, normally when you update an amazon order you lose your place in the queue.

Ahh is that the case? I won't bother trying then.

I just secured my Zelda Switch pre-order for £38.11 from Amazon. And if they drop the base price any further it'll cost even less!!

Quick Q for anyone who's pre-ordered from Shopto, how are they for getting release to you on launch day.

Ordered RE7 and it still says "Processing" under my Orders - but is listed as First Class postage (for free!)

Thanks!

if it's a tuesday release most times they've gotten the game to me on saturday depending on the publisher, sony games usually get to me on a tuesday but stuff like ubisoft end up with me on saturdays

Watch Dogs 2 on PS4 is currently £17 on Amazon UK. I've heard good things about this game so I might have to get it for this price.

Looked and it's a 3rd party seller with 1 feedback which is negative. The same seller also has other games for low prices(Infinite warfare for £10, Dishonored 2 for £14), almost certainly a scam.

Might wanna take a look who is selling it.
Not amazon itself, a rather heavy shipping fee and the game is being shipped from Canada.

Goddamn I'm slow.

And it says its sending from Canada. Shouldnt it pay import taxes to Europe?

Not "import taxes", unless the total value of your order exceeds €150 (don't know the amount in £).

You DO pay VAT and a declaration fee though when your order's value exceeds €22/£15. The declaration fee is an administrative cost that your local postal service will charge you back for performing the service of declaring the cost of your package for you to your customs department.

Some stores however, including a well known Canadian one, mark down the value of your package to under €22/£15, so that it would slip through the cracks and you won't get charged.
So it's possible that this Amazon UK market place seller would mark down the value, and that as a consequence you're unlikely to have to pay VAT on your package.

thanks for the info, I was not aware of those details :)

Yeah, it's rather complicated and obfuscated.

In case you'd ever import something with a value of over €150 (e.g. a new console from another region), keep in mind that you may have to actually pay import taxes. Those import taxes come on top of the VAT you start paying from €22/£15 and onward.

For video games, even used retro games, the import tax is 3,5% in my country.
For PC software it's 0% though for example.
I don't know what the rates are for video game hardware.

It all depends on what type of product you're importing.

Meanwhile VAT is around 20% in most European countries.

My Amazon Switch preorder has changed from Arriving March 3rd to Not yet dispatched, and I'm freaking out.

"Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date."

I ordered at 7am so not sure what's happening here...

maybe you're getting it early

lol, hope everything's ok

I updated my payment info to put additional credit from a gift card and now it's changed, so I'm hoping it hasn't pushed me back in the queue.

Strongly advised anyone else showing March 3rd on their preorders DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING.

Amazon DE has a huge warning on the Switch pre-order page to not change anything if you want your unit at launch.

Like a post above mine says... if you update anything on your order whether it be new card details or a new delivery address they usually put you to the back of the queue. Let's hope you're okay..

Seems I've fucked my pre-order then, so I really hope this prevents anyone else from doing the same. Stay safe people.

Bummer.

They are not taking new orders so anyone changing an order might go to the back of the current allocation but seems likely they will get first dibs on any extra stock or any cancellations. I suspect nearer the date there will be quite a few cancellations.

AmazonUK confirmed by adding a gift card, it actually updates the payment method, so resubmits an order putting you at the bottom of the queue.

It's not stated anywhere so, if you have a preorder with a date on Amazon. Do NOT update anything.

I'm devastated.

Just pre-order somewhere else..? Not the end of the world.

Like where? do you trust GAME with stock?

I can't, my card expires now 01/2017 =(, and they will try to charge me at the end of February..., so I'm fucked.
