Yeah, it started out wonky, but it has steadily gotten better.
The recent episodes had some of the best in Super (and DragonBall overall imo)

That gif definitely looks more like the legendary super saiyan form broly takes in the first movie than the standard super saiyan form everyone else takes.
Still, it could be any number of things with super , poor animation and colouring rather than intended, when it could be intended to be something closer to future trunks bulky ss1.5 form.
Still I'd bet on another universes legendary ss.

He's not, but I guess that form is canon now.
Pretty much a way to use the concept of Broly without using "Broly" since he's non-canon. Essentially, it's using the Legendary Super Saiyan concept with another character it seems.
I guess some fans wanted Broly, some fans wanted female super saiyans...

Now they can just milk whatever they want and it doesn't even matter, the die hards just eat it up anyways.
It doesnt have to make sense, have any ryme or reason or even work within established rules.

Like others have pointed out, she may be the Legendary Super Saiyan of another universe. Broly, who was the legendary super saiyan from Goku's universe, also grew huge and his eyes turned white when he transformed.

Basically, they made up a weak excuse for just coming up with weird nonsense, built a series around it, and with that same excuse infinitely shovel out this kind of thing without anyone raising a finger of trepidation for the original 80s-90s run of the franchise. Great.

I don't even watch Super loyally but I've seen clips of really bad animation from it on YouTube. Actuallu kinda shocking that a series like Super even has bad animation.... but it does.
