Fuck Baby Groot. I want some merchandise of this naked goodness.
We only know that Sony bought ad time for the Super Bowl, we don't know if it's for Spidey. However, it's likely that the ad time is for Spidey.Off topic but where's the supposed Spidey trailer? All the listed superbowl trailers are out except the Spidey one![]()

Tony called, he wants his Proton Cannon back.![]()
Heckin' yes.
If they are gonna keep putting out GOTGv2 trailers that are built around:
1. "hey, this film has a lot of colorful locations and sets!"
2. "remember these characters you like? you'll still like them!"
3. "we're not going to tell you anything about the plot!"
I'll be pretty stoked. So far these have been the opposite of the "here is everything that happens in the film" trailer template I dislike so much.
Yep, loving it. Folks love the characters, why not give them sizzle and when their butts are in the seats give the the steak.
This should go for more, even most movies. The best trailers for building hype aren't the ones that are mini versions of the movie. It sometimes works but is mostly unnecessary.
Poor Mantis, she had to take an L in the big team shot.
The song is "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac, in case you're curious.

Around 5pm CST during the pre-show, like most MCU Super Bowl ads. When did this air? Totally missed it.
Tony called, he wants his Proton Cannon back.
This is gonna be so hype.
There's going to be a Spider-man one I believe. Don't expect a Thor teaser until around when Guardians releases.
He's their minion.Neat except Baby Groot in the corner ruins it.
"he says welcome to the freakin guardians of the galaxy"
...
"only he didn't use freakin"
I don't know anything about Mantis, but she seems the clumsy type!
So... was there a Spider-Man trailer yet?
That theme giving me F1 vibes. :3
I think it is.
If so, I'm glad that Marvel's embracing the weird in a big way rather than trying to distance themselves from it.
Neat except Baby Groot in the corner ruins it.
And that's the amazing thing about what the MCU accomplished. The general public is willing to roll with whatever the Marvel Studios throws at them at this point.Considering they name dropped the fucking Living Tribunal in Dr. Strange, I think Marvel got the memo that they can go straight weird with it, and people will be okay with it.
Tony called, he wants his Proton Cannon back.

Drax shouldn't be funny, but god damn I still think he's hilarious
