Ah damn, a month or so isn't too bad I guess. Got ahead of myself there.
Should be before the middle of March.
I'm not in the beta but people were saying there is no copy option, only move option. So you don't have to worry about deleting anything after transfers.Great so that means I can continue downloading games on my internal drive til the new firmware comes out..and once I get the new hard drive and I connect it to the PS4 PRO I can transfer those games to the external storage and then delete them from the internal drive..just wanted to be sure I could do it..now on to the question that I have about the wallpaper..I have seen lots of great wallpaper posted here for the new firmware..how would I go about putting one on the PS4 once the update comes out? I see that some people have posted wallpaper along with their ps4 themes not sure how they were able to do that

You add a custom wallpaper in the themes menu, by selecting "Custom" as your theme option. When you do that you get given the default icon set unfortunately (so it differs from the PS3 in that you can't have custom theme icons with your own wallpaper).Oh OK even better..so once its moved it will be removed automatically from internal good news..that way I can continue downloading my games til the update comes out then move them to internal..now as far as the wallpaper is concerned Ive seen people post wallpaper here to be used on the PS4, how would I be able to put it on my console and I see that some wallpaper already has a really nice theme behind it so you can use your own wallpaper on top of a theme or are these themes already available on the PSN network
Should be before the middle of March.

Whatever at Boost support. I toggle it on and off on my Pro for the games people are raving about and see no improvements.
The improvements are very real. I'm sorry you can't see them

Must not own battlefield 4 if you don't see a improvement
I'd take it over locked 30fps mode any day.Turning R6 into a screen tearing mess is not an improvement.
Maybe try one of the big outdoor maps with vehicles rather than the infantry-only subway map.Tested Metro 64 player Conquest.
Looked fine /ran fine with boost on and off

Oh my goodness. It's a shame It took Sony almost five years to provide External HDD support, when the Xbox One had it since day one.
What I do is just message myself or bro from the ps app.You add a custom wallpaper in the themes menu, by selecting "Custom" as your theme option. In terms of getting a wallpaper on there, I've done it two ways:
Bear in mind that option 2 seems to introduce a little bit of compression, so the quality might not be quite as good as option 1.
- Using the PS4 web browser to go to a site with images (e.g. the new NeoGAF thread dedicated to PS4 wallpapers), clicking an image to make it full screen, hiding the mouse pointer in the bottom right corner, and then taking a screenshot; or
- Visiting a PSN Community (e.g. the new NeoGAF Wallpaper community), selecting an image to make it full screen, pressing up on the d-pad to hide the overlay, and then quickly taking a screenshot.
You can't pretend flawless performance in all games with boost mode. I mean, the hell of complain is that. Sony won't give any boost at launch, now at least we can choose.Turning R6 into a screen tearing mess is not an improvement.
That and screen tearing is less issue with the console and more with running R6 with vsync off.You can't pretend flawless performance in all games with boost mode. I mean, the hell of complain is that. Sony won't give any boost at launch, now at least we can choose.
My guess, probably at the time it was impossible to them provide such features without avoid that someone copy the whole game work in a different ps3 or just locking the access to the game via original user account.Oh my goodness. Is this a joke post?Oh my goodness. It's a shame It took Sony almost five years to provide External HDD support, when the Xbox One had it since day one.
It's took ms years to do some of the things ps4 had since launch too it's how the industry works.Oh my goodness. It's a shame It took Sony almost five years to provide External HDD support, when the Xbox One had it since day one.
R6 latest patch runs it at unlocked framerate, not even a 60fps cap the boost mode sometimes pushes it over 60fps that's whyTurning R6 into a screen tearing mess is not an improvement.
Never heard of that before. Does M0dus know about this? He creates the dynamic themes in gafDoes anyone know if they fixed the memory leak with Dynamic Themes?
I reported it to them when the PS4 Pro came out. Basically, if you select any dynamic theme, then load up The Division or Destiny (the two games I noticed it in), the frame rate was much lower and it seemed laggy to play. Changing it back to a static theme sorted it out.

According to this: http://www.justpushstart.com/2017/02/ps4-4-50-firmware-limited-1-external-hdd/
You can use only one external HDD in the beta.
Huh. I never even considered someone would want to use multiple. I mean 8TB (the limit) is more than enough for most people. I suppose you might want a second one for back-up purposes, though.
Eh it's a huge step forward but it's still pretty limited in some areas. Even existing restrictions are further highlighted with the addition of externals, such as copying install data and cloud saves.External SSDs really work beautifully. I love how well designed the system is, in regard external HDDs. Seems Sony have put a bit of thought into it during all these years of waiting.

You can't actually copy, just move. Disc installs and PSN installs are treated differently (this is probably why there is no copy function). Cloud saving isn't automatic but still behind a pay wall. What restrictions? Copying takes minutes and cloud saves are working fine here.

I signed up the same day as it was announced and still haven't received an invitation. Sony, why you do this to me? :-/
Copying is useful, for instance, when you want to grab an install from a friend or family member to save on bandwidth. Even if it's not a digital purchase, it can save time to get a patched install and just pop a disc in when I'm ready to play. Cloud saving on xbox is free, automatic, and unlimited. I think I can still count on Sony to make some changes since they did increase the cloud storage capacity a while ago, but I'm not always subscribed to PS+.Interesting. I have only moved my disc installs so didn't realise they differed to digital. Not being able to copy is not an issue surely as why would you need two copies of the same game on one system taking up space? I would also never expect to have the benefits of cloud saves without paying a sub considering the space they take up. They do offer the option to back up saves to disc too so options are there.

Go on your phone find a 4k wallpaper send it on ps message app and open it up on ps4.
This way you don't have to deal with bad compression and the silly game of zooming in on Web browser or options' two annoying habit of information screen continuously popping up at the bottom of screen when looking at screenshot .
I've said this already
I have this

Does disabling power to the USB ports while in rest mode mess with a USB powered external HDD from doing suspended games or downloads to the external HDD?
Is there any subreddit for the burner account thingy? Since the thread got locked.
