Hey hiphoptherobot, the dev documents indicated that there are some friends/users related features in the user menu which I think is accessed by tapping on the user icon on the top left of the screen. Does that do anything for you?

It doesn't have real 32gb like no other device really has the advertised capacity.

I'm aware that a big chunk is reserved by the OS and firmware, just kinda surprised at how big that chunk is.

I'd be really interested in this too. I wonder how much battery life would be saved by running the device at 480p resolution with the brightness also set to 70% vs 720p / 100% brightness.
